I'll repeat again

Stunning views in a quiet and cozy place. Very attentive and friendly staff. Very clean. Very comfortable bed and pillow. Ideal for disconnecting, relaxing, and walks with sea views.

Great location

The rooms are a normal size and have either a small terrace or balcony. The view of the sea is beautiful. From the hotel there is a steep path down to the beach and further along the coast.
The breakfast was simple but sufficient.

SPECTACULAR !!!!!!!

It is a small hotel with two floors, located in front of Portio beach with spectacular views.
Our room was on the second floor (as requested) with a large terrace.
The bed was very comfortable as was the pillow.
The staff was charming and gave us advice on the routes that can be taken along the paths to see the entire Costa Quebrada.
The sunset from the terrace is incomparable!!!!!!

Good hotel to stay and enjoy views and walks along the coast

Gerardo was awaiting us, welcomed us and showed the room although we arrived around midnight. The room with the balcony on the 1st floor was very ok. The view to the local beach and the rocks was amazing. Although the room was rather small, it was clean and nice. Breakfast simple, continental, with toasts, juice and coffee. All in all I recommend this place to stay and enjoy 1 or 2 days walking on the coasts, enjoying pinchos at the balcony during sunset.

dirty- avoid

We visited here looking forward to a stay somewhere, inaccurately, described as "light, spacious with good quality linens". We were in the self catering "apartment" block of the hotel. The main hotel does have lovely views out to sea, however, the apartments are at 90 degrees to the main block and have a view to a nighbouring housing estate. In order to see the coast you have to walk out into the grounds. The apartment is more what other hotels call a junior suite- small double room, bathroom and living/kitchenette room with single sofa bed and single pull out. Too small for a family of 4 to self-cater in comfort for a week. It has windows at either end but little light comes in to the rear ( double room) so it's pretty dark. The beach is a couple of minutes walk down the cliff path and looks lovely- in reality the bottom of the path was littered with dog excrement as were parts of the beach which hadn't been cleaned by the tide.
The worst bit, however, was the dirt in the room; the area around the sofa bed was cobwebbed with dirt on the floor- it clearly hadn't been cleaned. The pull out bed smelt so badly that I wouldn't let a child sleep on it. The main sofa had a stain on it. We had to wash the crockery before using it as it had old dried food on it; the coffee pot was mouldy as was the cupboard under the sink- we had to go out to buy cleaning things before using the kitchen. The main double bed had an unidentifiable stain on the top cover which was eventually replaced- when I took it off to change it ( the staff wouldn't actually change it they gave me a replacement and left me to it) the sheet underneath had a large yellow stain and several black marks- the bottom sheet was also marked so I took that off to find a stained and dirty matress cover with a number of hairs on it.
The room was also generally grubby- sticky bedside table, more hairs and dirt on the floor. When I complained I was told that the cleaners hadn't much time so they had missed things!
It is almost not worth mentioning the difficulties we had finding a member of staff to deal with or the demand for payment in full, in advance, before she would even show us the room ( presumably so that we couldn't leave once we'd seen it). There was no effort made to clean whilst we were there.
We found lovely, cheaper, accommodation further down the coast with a clean beach.
Don't stay here- there is much better available.
