Wonderful Palma beautiful Basilica
My sister and I have just returned from a lovely three-night stay in wonderful Palma de Mallorca, staying at the beautiful Hotel Basilica.
The hotel is boutique, elegant, and incredibly stylish. The staff were all fantastic—attentive and welcoming throughout our stay. A special mention goes to the lovely gentleman who greeted us on arrival with a chilled glass of cava; he was so informative and shared a little of the hotel’s history, which was a really nice touch.
The location is perfect—just a short walk to the hustle and bustle of Palma and the stunning Palma Cathedral (even if we did get lost a few times along the way!). There are so many wonderful places to eat, but we especially enjoyed Izizi Nunnak, down near the small harbour at the opposite end of Palma and its marina .
The salmon and pork were delicious, the olives were huge and mouth-watering, and the red wine was excellent.
We also had breakfast at the hotel before heading to the airport—it was very good value with a lovely selection to choose from.
We would 100% recommend this hotel. The rooftop views are amazing, with a small pool and a few sunbeds—perfect for relaxing with a piña colada (or two!).
Our room was beautiful and very stylish, with a Juliet balcony and complimentary water and treats, which were a lovely touch. If we had one small suggestion, it would be for a little more storage—perhaps drawers in the bedside tables or dressing table would be helpful for things like our make up toiletries and jewellery—but that’s just our personal preference.
We can’t wait to return. Thank you, Hotel Basilica! xx

The Gem continues to shine
Third time at the Bascilica for seven nights and again experienced first class service and facilities.. Hotel immaculately maintained and staff as always helpful and friendly.. Breakfast delicious and of high quality and sure to leave satisfied.. Room well appointed and quiet for a central location which added to a good nights sleep. Complimentary mini bar and welcome return bottle of wine an elevated touch. Special shout out to Angie who was more than helpful ( Many Thanks). Goes without saying we will definitely return.

Wonderful hotel in the best old town location
The hotel is located in the middle of the old town of Palma, which you can overlook from the pool. The hotel team is very accommodating, the room was great, and our stay was perfect all around.

Great location in Palma
Great location, just off the beaten tract. Very chilled out and relaxed. Good sized rooms with good bathroom. Free minibar and coffee.Towels for the pool/beach. Nice pool on the roof, but very small.

Lovely friendly place in the middle of old town
Location is perfect, close to public parking and walkable to all places of interest. The hotel atmosphere overall was very calm, the staff being exceptionally friendly and helpful. However, the room was extraordinarily small, and some details were missing: for example, the wardrobe had excellent setting and lighting, but the handles were very uncomfortable. The pool is not really a swimming pool but a small splashing pool with only enough space for 4-5 people seated simultaneously. The view was amazing, though. The water in the room was enough for two and was refilled daily. We had a small welcome compliment. Breakfasts were great, with both local and traditional variety of food and desserts. Totally recommended, I d stay there again!
