Our small hotel is located at the bottom of the incredible "Serra de Tramuntana" ( a spectacular mountain range), in the center of a tiny, beautiful village called moscari.

Lovely peaceful hotel

We stayed here for 2 nights whilst cycling across the island. It was a lovely hotel and our room was on the ground floor, so right next to the pool. There was no restaurant at night but this was not a problem as there was a good restaurant across the road. A very peaceful hotel in a beautiful setting.

Total disappointment

Fully defrosted decoration. It detracts from how beautiful the house is...
There's no hot water.
There is also no hand soap or amenitis as advertised in the photos...
There is no minibar, no coffee maker, no thermos as advertised on Booking.
Breakfast is in the hotel next door, (hotel Riera )quite poor for the price...
TV doesn't work either...
Claiming hot water to shower, the receptionist at the Riera Hotel, which is where you have to go for breakfast... tells us to let the water run for 5 or 10 minutes... even then the water comes out freezing.
I find it terrible that the water is not taken care of since it is a scarce commodity on the islands....
We leave without being able to shower, of course, we have paid 100% of all the services we have NOT received....

5 stars for the hotel, 2.5 for the restaurant

The hotel is really cute and charming: beautiful large and comfortable rooms with the view on the olive trees and the mountains in the distance. The breakfast is really good and abundant. I cannot say the same for the restaurant. We had dinner yesterday and there is a 5 plate menu, the lady told us there was one fish plate and one duck plate without telling what type of fish and the preparation. When we asked what type of fish was she couldn't reply. The duck was served with one kilo of pineapple at the side that was simply too much for the amount of meat there was. I warmly recommend only for the hotel.

Dinner

Odd place offering a five course menu or you can have less courses if your prefer. No choice, set menu that’s it, good authentic food it says but well just awful, bland and no choice. Would never come back again, never in all my life have I been to a restaurant where you cannot choose your courses from a set menu. You basically get what you are given, wouldn’t be so bad if the food was good, but plain, bland and the worst meal I have ever eaten.

Torn between a rating if 3 and 4

Not bad, but not great. The positives: large, superior room; breakfast in the neighbouring hotel was good. However, the general maintenance of the hotel needs to improve. The room could use a re-paint for instance. In the morning I had to let the shower run for ten minutes before getting hot water (I hate wasting water like that). The pool was dirty and not cleaned the whole week we were there. Overall, the sister hotel looked way better maintained. Dinner was awful (see the restaurant review). All in all too expensive for what it is (I think we payed 150€ per night for the room with breakfast).
