Avoid...

Once we went up to the room, I immediately called the cleaning lady to have her clean the bathroom, which was full of excrement both in the toilet and on the seat; she, annoyed, kept telling me she didn't understand and that everything was clean! The fact is that she took a tissue from her pocket and, dry (without even using any soap or disinfectant), wiped it on the toilet (I have photos and videos!!!) Then, out of spite, she took a bottle with a blue liquid and sprayed it in my face and on the bed!!! That liquid fell on my phone, and she wiped the screen with that same tissue full of urine and other things!!! I immediately went to the reception to report it; I gave them photos and videos hoping for some kind of action, but nothing! How disgusting!!! I prayed not to catch any disease during that stay... As for the food, it is buffet style, so you will always find something to your liking, but watch out for the drinks, which are excluded from meals!!!! A bottle of WATER costs €3.50!!! I would never go back; it is only good for a certain type of dirty and crude clientele!

3rd visit to Santa .

Mixed feelings.
Food - meh. Recycled bfsst items into lunch or dinner dishes.
BIG THING was my wife has found some small creatures walking under her “dessert “ pot.
Strange thing to witness.
Drinks- only free with bfast. U have to pay for water 3.50e a bottle or other soft drinks.
Breakfast juices are not juices. Ton of sugar with a colour.
A lot of dry bread in the canteen ( not cover with any cloth to keep them fresh).
Pork was very chewy. Probably old animal slaughtered.
Our whole Floor stank of cannabis. I didn’t like neither my kids.
Renting hairdryers or a kettle was just a shocking thing to do. Same with a little fridge.
Sunbeds taken from 7am with towels . More than 70% free but with towels and no people around them.
No separate lamp above the beds . I could not read the book because everyone else wanted to sleep and there was only big light..
Loud music by the pool in the evenings.
Not enough activities for kids. Barely any .
Everyone smoking cigarettes on the sunbeds . Stinking up every corner . If you are not a smoker . I’m sorry but you not gonna have a good rest.
A lot of cracked tiles outside the pool. Dangerous to the kids and adults. Possibility of cutting your toe. This happened to my son.
Plaster was provided.
Leak in the bathroom . Water was pouring in to the floor from the shower. Old silicone should have been removed and replaced.
What was good ? bar staff members and few other young girls in the restaurant. Very polite Housekeeping staff.
Won’t be coming back nor recommending.

Negative

I just got back from vacation from the Reymar hotel, bad experience, third world meals recycled days and days, inedible! The common areas without air conditioning, unlivable ! the en suite bathroom stank from the shower drain spread throughout the room! More than a holiday, it was a nightmare!

Perfect location, Nice hotel, food wasn't great

After reading the reviews i was expecting chaos but it wasn't the case.
It is in an excellent location plenty of shops, bars and restaurants close by. It has a small pool, jacuzzi and sauna, pool table. The rooms are a good size with a balcony and were clean upon arrival the housekeeping staff work really hard and it is not an easy job!!!.
The beach is easy to find and is a stones throw away but it is gritty and the sea is not as clear as others i saw along the way.
What let it down was having to pay a rental charge for items like kettles, irons, fridges, safes and hair dryers at €4 per day, the bar area wifi was free yet the hotel wifi was a €5 per week charge.
Check out says 13.00 but when you get there it says 14.00 which was a bit annoying.
The food was hit and miss to be honest the breakfast was the better food and you could only get drinks with breakfast.
It was close to the train line but i did not find it a problem noise wise.
The little road train stop outside takes you into margrat de mar and back which was handy and it also stopped outside the train station in margrat where i hopped on the R1 line to barcelona.
I would probably not come back to this hotel due to the quality of the food and extra charges but it was cheap and i still had a great holiday.

Never again.

Of all the hotels we've stayed at, Hotel Reymar is the noise-free hotel we've ever experienced.
The walls are paper thin and you can hear virtually everything that is going on in the neighboring rooms – even ordinary conversations. We could also clearly hear when guests on the floor above pulled their suitcases over the floor. If you want a quiet holiday or a good night's sleep, this hotel is in our opinion a very bad choice.
The tour operator’s website states that dance evenings are organized several times a week. The fact was, however, that every evening loud music was played at the pool area until 23:30. At the same time, there was often a lot of noise from screaming children, while drunken parents apparently did not have proper supervision. In a building with such poor sound insulation, it simply becomes too much.
Our rooms were nice and simple, but bed linen was not changed a single time during our stay (8 nights). The bathroom has no exhaust, so the moisture can only get away by opening the door out to the room. In addition, the drain often smelled badly. There is no refrigerator in the rooms - this can be purchased. Neither the hallway nor the lobby are air-conditioned, giving the hotel a constant warm and humid atmosphere.
The restaurant is more like a canteen than a restaurant. The acoustics are very poor and the noise level is violent, so it is far from a pleasant experience to eat there. Even though we had half-pension, all drinks for dinner had to be purchased separately – including regular water. The food appeared as typical buffet for many people without the great quality. We especially missed fresh vegetables, as most were marinated or married.
One day we took the remains of our drinks, purchased in the restaurant, to the pool area, but learned that we were not allowed to drink them there, only drinks purchased from the pool bar were allowed. It seems unnecessarily rigid when it is the same hotel.
An experience at the pool unfortunately made an especially negative impression. A guest had stool in the pool, which of course can happen without the guilt of the hotel. The critical was the handling. The staff removed the stool with a net, but then allowed the guests to continue bathing without the pool being closed or visibly disinfected. Fuck, I just say.
The only thing we can emphasize positively is the staff at the reception. They were throughout the stay friendly, welcoming and helpful.
The area around the hotel is lovely, but Hotel Reymar does not live up to our expectations. Due to the extreme noise, the poor facilities, the mediocre food and the unsatisfactory handling of hygiene at the pool, we can in no way recommend the hotel and will strongly encourage others to choose another place.

Very good location
