Excellent Stay with Family
Great hotel. Quiet location. Breakfast was amazing, definitely get that when booking. Hotel customer service also very good and friendly, we had a lot of questions! Book the pool/spa area in advance as that gets busy. Would definitely stay here again.

EXQUISITE AND EXCEPTIONAL TREATMENT
We have been loyal to the Meliá chain for years, but we had not yet had the occasion to stay at the Meliá Madrid Princesa hotel, and my family and I were delighted with it, but especially with the exquisite treatment received since our arrival. Furthermore, The Level service provides a plus in every sense, and I recommend it. The young woman who attended to breakfast at The Level, whose name I do not remember, was a delight and was always very attentive to any of our requests, receiving spectacular treatment from her. The hotel's location is very good, being next to the Plaza de España, the Gran Vía, and the Calle Mayor. We had booked four nights of lodging, but in the end, we had to advance our departure due to a serious health problem of a family member, and through the management of María, the hotel's Guest Service Manager, whose treatment was also incredible, they had the courtesy to give us a partial refund for the nights not enjoyed, which we did not expect and says a lot about the level of effort this hotel makes to satisfy its guests.
Of course, when we return to stay in Madrid, our hotel will once again be the Meliá Madrid Princesa.

A complete disappointment.
The most expensive and worst hotel in Madrid.
We stayed in different hotels for a week in Madrid. This hotel was both the most expensive and by far the worst. The price-quality ratio is the worst I've ever seen.
We requested a change of sheets starting from our second day in the room (they were clean upon arrival). Despite calling and requesting it a total of 5 times, each time the staff came to the room, pretended to change it, left, and lied, saying "it has been changed." New towels and slippers were never brought either. We were forced to stay with the same sheets and towels for days.
The rooms are incredibly small; you can barely find a place to unpack your suitcase. Breakfast was just okay, that's all.
Moreover, pool use is limited to 45 minutes. You only find out about this after you've checked into the hotel and want to use the pool. It's not mentioned anywhere.
Briefly: You definitely don't get your money's worth. Of all the hotels we stayed at in Madrid, this was both the most expensive and the most disappointing. I don't recommend it.

Excellent hotel in Madrid
This hotel is great! Amenities, food and location is excellent. Walking distance from the Royal Palace, Sabatini gardens and Calle major. All staff was great, but special mention to Nerea at the front desk for her welcoming and kind attitude. She is very good at her job and really made our stay in Madrid special.
