Good eleccon

We were staying in room 101, lovely views from the balcony, spacious, 2 beds, 2 bedside tables, 2 seats and a desk table with chairs, nothing to ask for, just steps from Sol, very central, everything perfect, very clean
The reception lady is very nice, we had the blackout and was watching everything
In the living room there are two machines, one with drinks and one with snacks
If we return to Madrid we will stay again, no doubt

Noise from the neighbors above.

It is impossible to rest in the rooms facing the street due to the many noises from the floor above. Music and shouting made it so we could not rest.

Perfect location

Very central and convenient location, easy to reach and close to all the main tourist attractions, the room is large and clean and equipped with all the necessary comforts, excellent value for money and extreme kindness of the owner, certainly to be recommended.

Avoid this Hostal in Madrid.

Before completing the registration process I asked the old spanish to let us see the camera she had allocated to us but in a mancing manner, she grinned, pointed out to my booking with Booking.com and said: Senior, you have paid for the camera anyway !
The camera (No. 101, the first on your left from the reception desk on the thrid floor) did not have a balcony but a veranda with sealed semi rotten windows. This was not what had been described to us but the camera at least had air conditioning. However, two of the three nights we spent were ruined by the excruciatingly painful noise that came from the road Calle Mayor. Couple with the noise from drunk tourists and spaniards for two nights there were road works that wen on until 3 am. It sent us mad and we had only a few hours sleep. Instead of getting up earlier we remained in bed until 10:30/11:00 thus losing site seeing valuable time. I suggest you avoid this establishment. It must have been aware of the road works going on yet still accepted guests.

Expensive and small

Hello, I stayed at the hostel a few days ago in a single room, they charged me 65 euros per night but the room was very, very small, it only fit a bed and a very small desk. There was no room to move, the bathroom was also tiny. I think that for that price the room should be larger, or priced at a much lower price.
