Fantastic Stay!

Excellent stay with family. Very clean. Friendly service. Fantastic location in the heart of Madrid! Rooftop restaurant has amazing food and views of the city.

The best hostal in Gran Via Madrid

I had a wonderful stay at Hostal Gran Vía 44. The location is unbeatable—right on Gran Vía and within walking distance of Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor, shops, restaurants, and public transportation. It’s perfect for exploring Madrid on foot.
The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The bed was comfortable and the room had everything needed for a short or medium stay.
The staff was friendly, helpful, and always willing to assist with any questions. Check-in was smooth and communication was clear from the beginning.
Overall, this hostal offers excellent value for money, especially considering its central location. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Madrid who wants comfort, convenience, and a great location.

Right for what it is

We stayed one night taking advantage of the fact that we went to a concert in Madrid. It is obviously super well placed in the heart of Gran Vía de Madrid. The place is in a fairly old building and the elevator goes very very slowly so if there are queues on the floors to catch it is very difficult and long wait. The room rather quiet, small but clean, for us what we wanted was just to sleep, was right. The price was 100€ than being the center of Madrid, not so bad.

Very good choice

Tremendous location, clean, quiet and comfortable.
Good shower, conservative and air conditioning.
He's got enough, but it doesn't take any more.
I had read that I had problems with the elevator, which I didn't, the wait was normal as anywhere else.
It has a beautiful rooftop on the 10th floor.
Highly recommended.

Good location

Well located, but very small breakfast, a roll of toilet paper p 3 people. However, one point in favour was to leave towels for body and hair, both for me and my son, note 10.
Elevator only p 4 people and there is only one building p.
