Artistic B&B was great! It was in a lovely location, the rooms were clean and beautiful, and the staff were super welcoming and helpful. There were a lot of stairs, as mentioned, but they did not bother us!
I am sure this was disclosed ahead of time, but I had expected a more traditional B&B service. The B&B service is purchasing an 8 euro pass for breakfast at a local cafe.

Great location
It is in an excellent location, close to all the main attractions of Madrid, in a beautiful neighborhood.
The staff is super friendly.
The beds are comfortable and the room quiet.
It has a common area with vending machines that sometimes save the night late.
They were flexible with check-in time at no extra charge, and allowed us to leave luggage while they prepared the room. I highly recommend.

Friendly place in the centre of a great old part of Madrid
I really enjoyed staying there. The hotel is old and full of character. It has been decorated in a fun way. The staff are very helpful and friendly. It is in an old part of the city, close to little shops and bars and near the centre.

Spanish charm in the middle of the city.
This is a wonderful spot to stay in Madrid. It's unique charm and character is wonderful. Roberto in the office is so very helpful answering questions, giving directions, helping with luggage. The area is so very quiet and yet you are in the middle of everything. You can walk through the entire city centre from this location with many restaurants and sites nearby. This is a heritage building and that makes it even more interesting. The rooms are very clean, beds super comfortable and a wonderful shower. The only downside is that there is no elevator. Otherwise, this is the perfect spot for your Madrid vacation.

I had a nice experience as the staff is very attentive throughout.
I stayed in a small hotel in the heart of Madrid and the experience was lovely. The location is perfect for touring the city on foot, with museums, bars and squares a short walk away. The staff was warm and attentive from the start, which made me feel at home. The room was simple but comfortable, ideal to rest after a day exploring. What I liked the most was the tranquility of the place, despite being in such a busy area. I would definitely stay there again on my next visit.
