The rooms are small and simple but have everything needed, especially for a shorter stay. The auto check-in was easy and the next day when I interacted with staff, they were very friendly and helpful. All in all a very pleasant experience.

First Time in Madrid

Great location in Madrid within walking distance to many of the big attractions. Staff was great, very attentive and helpful. The room did not have an iron or ironing board and the AC never really cooled down our room. Coming back from being out in the heat and finding our room a bit warm was not the best. But overall, great reception by the staff and great location! I would stay here again.

I had to give it a one, even though the hotel is very nice and the staff is very nice. If you are going to arrive after 5 o’clock, do not stay at this hotel. I arrived at 5:05 and they never sent me the entry codes. There’s no way to contact anyone. There is no way to get a refund. I was on my way to find another hotel when by accident a manager was walking by and saw me on the sidewalk. You cannot check in to this hotel after 5 o’clock. End of story. Very upsetting.

Weekend trip

Fantastic nice hotel near Prado Museum. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There is a nice terrace to go to to eat some tapas and a nice glass of wine. Breakfast was great with plenty of choice. If you say something a little negative, the coffee was not to my taste.

Not Quite What We Expected from a 4-Star Hotel

AC Hotel Atocha is a 4-star hotel, but our stay was somewhat disappointing. The room felt smaller than the ones at Hotel Mediodía, and overall it didn’t seem to offer good value for the price. We experienced noise from a nearby room around midnight, which affected our sleep. Additionally, the bathroom floor was not very clean.
On the positive side, the location is convenient and close to major tourist sites, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
