Clean, close by attractions and good for an overnight stay.

A very clean, well appointed but tiny room with a clean bathroom and an excellent shower is fine for an overnight stay and the hotel seems to be popular with Camino tourists on their way to Santiago as well as the traveling business person. It's a stone's throw from the old Roman walls and the fashionable Old Quarter with its cathedral, restaurants and bars and is worth a visit. Breakfast is reasonably priced at €12. However, if you're coming by car, it's worth knowing that the hotel has no car park, but the hotel staff will be able to direct to inexpensive paid underground parking close by unless you're fortunate enough to find a free parking spot somewhere not too far away. Fortunately, there is a delivery bay at the hotel where you can offload your luggage before finding somewhere to park. English is spoken.

Good quality-price ratio.

The staff is friendly, the location is just a step away from the bus station and very close to the wall; it is a good option at a good price, and the breakfast is decent.

Perfect location

I must have been lucky as I met the nicest receptionist called Andrea at the modern Exe Puerto de San Pedro hotel. Not all are as friendly.
It is truly convenient for all the tourist places and Plazas. I was on the 8th floor which was my choice as I wanted a quieter room as the hotel is on a busy road. I was shown the room which was an attic room but surprisingly spacious with two single beds and a nice bathroom with a shower. The narrow velux window in the bedroom showed the top of the houses and mountains and was nice and quiet.
There’s no restaurant on site but plenty in the nearby plaza and I found a place on my walk called Breoghan which if you buy any drink gives you a choice of two tapas! The tapas were delicious and despite being a cramped room was worth it and there’s also space outside.
It’s not a long walks to do the whole of the Roman wall that encircles Lugo though I didn’t attempt it.
Breakfast in the morning was excellent and there was something for eery taste. Health food, cakes & pastries, meats, cheese, fruit & yogurt. Coffee was not great and there’s only Earl Grey tea but I always take tea with me.
A lovely stay and a perfect location and a shout-out to Andrea whose smile lights up the room.
