Such friendly people, great food and clean comfortable rooms

Such a friendly place, everyone here could not be more helpful. The food in the restaurant is really tasty and good value and the wine is fantastic. The rooms are really clean and comfortable. This is quite a remote area of northern Spain so it was great to find such a lovely place to stay!

Two night stay in June - beyond our expectations

We stayed here for 2 nights at the start of a trip to the Picos in June. The write-up makes this hotel sound modest, but it’s a gem. The service is brilliant, food is excellent, rooms are spotless, location by the river with mountain views is lovely and it’s great value for money. We would definitely stay here again, and highly recommend Huelde.

Stepping through a magic curtain

Short day, recovering from the previous long and difficult day on the bike from the coast in Pechon, over a 1600 M pass. There was drizzle falling as I found this hotel. The exterior was of a plain brick building, the front door opened into the beautiful tavern. The interior of the building, the tavern, the dining room and the room were all immaculate. The owner was on site and a steady businessman. There was a young woman working in the kitchen who spoke a bit of english, which was nice.

Como en casa

Hotel muy recomendable. Trato excelente y familiar. Comida casera tradicional. El lugar es para perderse. Naturaleza por todos los lados y el pantano de Riaño está muy cerca. Volveremos. Como dije antes estás como en casa…

Trato excelente

Lo mas notable de este hotel esnel agrado con que te tratan, algo cada vez mas raro.
El resto es mas que aceptable, habitaciones limpias y con todo la nrcesario aunque sin lujos.
La comida de menu muy natural y bien guisada, opciones para todo a 10€
