Incredible ❤️

Today my husband and I have eaten in this wonderful place. It has been an absolutely incredible experience, as if you suddenly traveled back in time and entered another era. From the moment you walk through the door of this stone building, you feel like you are part of a story from 50 or 60 years ago.
The food is completely homemade, prepared with a lot of love. The stew was spectacular: prepared with chickpeas grown in this region and with local meat, using high-quality local products. The portion is huge; in fact, we took half of it home. The desserts were also delicious.
We had never had a gastronomic experience like this. Everything was exquisite and we are very glad we made a stop here on the way to Madrid. We walked through this beautiful town, enjoyed an unforgettable meal, and were lucky enough to meet the wonderful owners of the restaurant.
The service deserves a special mention. The two of them run the restaurant all by themselves: one is the cook and the other takes care of the dining room. But he is not just a waiter; he is someone who transports you to the history of each dish, the town, and the entire region of Castile and León. Listening to him is part of the experience.
We left there with tears in our eyes. It was a delicious, endearing, authentic, and unforgettable experience. Guys, you are simply one love!

Cocido Maragato to burst!

A giant experience! like the Cocido itself! Exaggerated, delicious, traditional, and the price is right. I recommend it without reservations

Luxury experience

It was the best stew I have ever tasted; there were about ten of us, and although the price was somewhat high, it is worth it. It came with a large platter of assorted meats, a big plate of chickpeas and cabbage, and a huge bowl of good soup. There was even some left over, three desserts to choose from, and a ten out of ten service; the staff is incredibly nice and very good.

Spectacular

Typical cooked maragato very good and if your thing is not cooked, we advise the chop that was incredible, the ketchupes are dreamy, the attention by Ricardo was excellent, it is the second time we go and threaten to return.

Unbeatable cooking and attention from 10

Today we went to Castrillo de los Polvazares with the family to eat the baked maragato and we got it right in "The Maragato Corner". Service and quality is 10. Both the soup and the chickpeas themselves with their buddy was good! I recommend booking in advance!!! Unbeatable attention!
