Easter 2026, Stunning
We have just spent Easter 2026, 5 marriages to celebrate silver weddings at home Camargue, if I could not give you 5 ⭐ I would give you 12 ⭐, the stay in these 5 days has been very good, both in location, tranquility, room and in general everything. Casa Maragata and patio highly recommended and hostess Margarita, wonderful. I hope to come back. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Very quiet and peaceful.
We had serious problems finding the Posada as there are two villages with the same name next to each other. If you are coming from Astorga, ignore the first sign, carry on around a bend and follow the next sign.The lovely Anna is the owner and nothing was a problem. Basic rooms but the whole building was beautifully converted about 12 years ago, in fact the whole village seems to have had the same treatment. Great dinner, very reasonable prices, good for a one night stop. Has a very friendly and fun dog. Loves chasing pine cones!

Excelent kind smiley service
I spent one day with my family. We ate cocido maragato for lunch and also had dinner there. We are absolutely thankful for patience and kindness for our kids, preparing special food and everything around for them to feel comfortable. They love Camarga's soup!!!

Absolutely charming
We stayed a night here because the place we were supposed to be spending the night at, in a spirit of helpfulness, had swapped our ground floor room for a second floor one so we would be away from the noise of a wedding that was going on, forgetting that we had booked a ground floor room because I have poor mobility. The manager rang a couple of other places and got us booked in at this charming place that was much quieter than the original place would have been and we felt we had really struck lucky!
Posada Camarga was wonderfully quiet, beautifully converted and decorated and we were welcomed with tea and biscuits! The proprietress is Spanish but her English is so fabulous you wouldn’t guess; she is an ex-business consultant who has created a lovely hotel and produces the delicious meals available in the evening, from a menu with 3 choices each for each course. The courtyard was full of flowers and we could hear birds singing – a vast improvement on the slightly sozzled renditions of Abba going on at the place we would have stayed! If you want somewhere quiet and relaxing, with a friendly welcome and simple, delicious food, I recommend this place wholeheartedly.

Camino Stopover
We stayed at this delightful hotel for 4 days in May on a short break whilst cycling the Camino Way. The rooms were excellent and Margarets home cooking was first rate. It was good to have food prepared by someone who clearly enjoys making local dishes. Hospitality was excellent and the wider facilities available were very comfortable. We would certainly come back here again.
