Nice big room, clean, fair price.
Close to everything.
Noises from other rooms at night and from stuff from 7 am. They woke me up. If they manage to keep the noise down, it would be perfect. I would recommend it nevertheless.

Hostel for workers

I came to the line with the intention of passing to Gibraltar and this hostel was well located for what I wanted I asked for a room with bathroom and for the price I paid it seems reasonable. I was on a second floor without elevator and the bad thing is that you could hear everything the walls look like paper and the doors to close you have to hit them otherwise fair cleaning and a ramshackle old furniture. It fulfilled the function I wanted simply

Great location for Gibraltar border, friendly staff with quick check in. There are noise issues but least of my problems these days.

The bathroom was just a big pane of glass.
(There was no wall for the bathroom).
So you could see the person in the bathroom and toilet.
There were no photos to show this or properly warn of this.
Not private at all.

Ok for one night.

A hostel-type place which accommodates local workers as well as tourists it seems. Not even a one-star hotel. My room had a bathroom but no outside window, so quite dark and dismal. Other rooms might be better if they have an outside window. The reception guy was friendly and pleasant. La Linea town itself is a short walk to the border and there are a few cafes/bars around. There is an exceptionally good local cafe near on the bus 'station' roundabout.
