Loved it.
The hotel was full of character, our room was comfortable, clean and airy. There was air conditioning in the room but with the windows open and shutters closed we had no need of it and had a great night’s sleep. There are lots of different little shaded areas in and around the hotel which are perfect for reading and there is also a pool if you are feeling more energetic.
We had a lovely dinner in the restaurant which is in the hotel grounds, but not owned by the hotel. If you are ordering the pizza there, one between two adults is plenty. We had a light breakfast which was lovely.
The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Their command of English was so much better than my total lack of Spanish.
We would certainly stay here again and have no problem in recommending it.

Awful! Changed our booked spa room to large cold room. No apology no respect for the booking.
They changed our room without a word or apology . When we pointed out that we were given the wrong room the receptionist was embarrassed and rang the manager. The manager had the cheek to tell us that she had given us a bigger room for our own benefit ! We explained that we’d rather have the room with spa Bath that we’d booked she said it was no longer available and we could cancel if we didn’t want it ! They had already taken our money and it was 8pm, stormy and we have driven all day to get here.
We had booked a night on the way from Almeria to Bilbao. We booked a room with a spa Bath and hot tub and coffee making facilities which we were looking forward to after a very long drive.
Our current room is large and cold There is a coffee machine but no coffee. The receptionist has gone home. We are sitting in this dim cold room. I have had two insects crawling on my leg . It’s horrible.
I have read the other poor reviews and I see that the management always blames the customer. Don’t believe this and avoid this hotel.
