“Wonderful stay: excellent food and service”

Excellent experience at the Hotel! The facilities at the are very good, the food is delicious and the hotel staff are very friendly and attentive. We felt very happy with our stay and will definitely repeat.

Disappointed and unable to rest well

We stayed in a room for a couple and the bed made an incredible noise. You had to move a little and the bed made a lot of noise, then the safe didn't close to use it, the shower tap for hot water was cold water… so Everything else is fine, but for what they charge they should put a mattress in good condition and fix the things that fail.

As a perfect wedding hall

This past day, 09/16/2023, I celebrated the silver anniversary and I can only indicate that a 10 for the service, kindness, cleanliness, attention and professionalism of those who assisted us, starting with María when we were talking to her, then Fran and everyone the waiters we treated that day. Recommended to celebrate any family event, business event, etc. etc since the professionalism for this type of events is remarkable. Thank you for the service provided.

Clean and well kept. Beautiful view of the Sierra Magina from rooms with terraces at the back of the hotel. Best connections are by taxi.
Please note there is no swimming pool anymore/currently since party venue space has been extended.

Avoid this place

I had the misfortune to stay at this place whilst attending to business in Jodar.
Check in was fine, the receptionist explained breakfast was from 8am every day.
The room has a stale smell, probably from smoke. The shower goes hot and cold which isn't pleasant.
However, the wifi signal was excellent, as was the cleanliness of the entire hotel.
It was the lack of courtesy of the staff which struck me as odd, almost as if they'd prefer me to stay in my room.
I asked to use the pool, if you can get in before or after the kids I recommend it.
The worst was the menu del dia - at 15€ it is more expensive, even than good Hotels in Madrid, so I was expecting a treat.
The food was awful, and the wine undrinkable (first time in Spain). The main course was battered fish and chips with a vegetable-based sauce on top - it reminded me of experimental food of the 80s. I was hugely disappointed, and even felt deceived.
On Monday morning I went down to get breakfast at 8am but was told there was none as the 'waiter hasn't arrived'. I explained I needed to go to work at 8.30.
Needless to say, I cut short my reservation by one night and booked a hotel in Ubeda - you should do the same.
In a nutshell - they think they are doing you a favour by allowing you to stay in their Hotel. Rude, abrupt service and EVERYTHING is too much trouble.
If you have the misfortune to stay here, please eat at the lovely, friendly restaurant across the street.
