Excellent

Fantastic hotel with lots of character, well equipped and clean rooms, stunning roof terrace and almost perfect peace and quiet just a couple of minutes walk from the bustling restaurants and bars of Dalit Villa. Friendly staff, decent price - was a bit worried about some of the past reviews but genuinely nothing of concern.

TERRIBLE, DIRTY, RUDE STAFF

We booked 5 days at this hotel, but the next day we ran away immediately! First of all, the receptionist PAMELA, before checking us in and taking us to our respective room, waited to serve all the other customers because the rooms were up on a hill, which was super heavy and dangerous to get to with the weight of the suitcases (heart attack risk). We arrive at the bell tower of this monastery; it was impossible to recognize the room because the numbers were missing and there was no elevator. We arrive in a terrible and awful room, without air conditioning but with a filthy fan, bed bugs, insects, infested with ants, broken window door, no signal to call a taxi. Ms. Pamela, with rudeness never seen before, stood there open-mouthed without finding a single solution to resolve the filth of this place! There are no words for this terrible experience, other than to run away to another hotel. I strongly advise against this place, a bringer of negativity, and if you want to ruin your vacation, this place is guaranteed! Avoid booking at this super dirty place with rude staff.

Terrible nightmare experience!

Terrible experience, a nightmare! A stay to forget.
Overall rating not even one star
I stayed at this hotel hoping for a wonderful vacation in Ibiza, but the reality turned out to be a real nightmare with my eyes open.
As soon as we entered the room, the situation immediately appeared unacceptable:
Bed bugs, the worst discovery. In the morning we woke up with suspicious bites and, checking the mattress better, we found evidence of the presence of bed bugs. A total lack of hygiene and prevention.
Ant invasion that was literally everywhere. They were walking on the nightstand, along the walls, and even near the bed. Impossible to leave any personal belongings or open food.
The room had not been cleaned properly before our arrival. There was dust accumulated in the corners, hair in the bathroom, and suspicious stains on the sheets. It seemed that basic cleaning had been completely ignored for weeks. No air conditioning
We politely brought the situation to the reception's attention, but Pamela was cold and completely indifferent, neither resolving the problem nor offering a room change worthy of the name.
Highly unrecommended: if you care about your health and well-being, absolutely avoid this place.

It is true that it is ancient but this does not take into account that it must be dirty and badly cared for

during our recent stay at the Hotel La Ventana. While we are aware of the historic footprint and ancient style of the property, we believe that the cleanliness and maintenance conditions found are not acceptable or appropriate to the category of the hotel.
Inside the chamber we found a widespread presence of ants along the walls and webs, as well as a considerable accumulation of layered dust over the years, particularly on the joints and window frames. To this was added a persistent and unpleasant smell of closed, musty and even cat urine, which made the stay decidedly uncomfortable.
To this picture is added an unfortunate episode that occurred at check-out: despite not having used the minibar, we were asked insistently if we were really "sure" that we had not consumed anything, in a tone that clearly questioned our good faith. We consider this attitude on the part of staff inappropriate and unprofessional
For the smell of mold and smells of closed we were pretty bad all week with headaches aches and coughs because breathing air like this for 7 days definitely does not do well I repeat that we knew it was old (antique) but one thing is ancient and another is cleaning and pa accommodation then not for the animals but were cats everywhere on the outdoor tables where people have to eat and smells of cat pee obviously

Highly unrecommended. Terrible experience and vacation completely ruined.

A vacation we had been waiting for for months, organized to enjoy days of relaxation and fun, turned into an experience to forget. The room was old, neglected, and absolutely not up to standard. The location was practically in the highest part of the city: to get there you had to tackle an all-uphill road and, once you arrived, there were narrow stairs and no elevator, making everything extremely inconvenient and tiring. The room was in unacceptable condition: no air conditioning, just a small fan, a broken window handle, and no window screens. Furthermore, there was no phone service. The cleanliness was even worse: we found an invasion of ants, dirt, and bed bugs. An absolutely unacceptable situation.
We reported the problems immediately, but the staff proved to be rude, unhelpful, and not at all interested in helping us. Instead of looking for a solution, we even felt mocked. The situation was so unbearable that we literally ran away and gave up on the stay. It is truly absurd to think that a vacation awaited and desired for months ended in this way. I strongly advise against this property. One of the worst experiences ever: old and neglected property, unacceptable cleanliness, zero comfort, and rude staff. Never again.
