Room excellent. Food less so.

Comfortable hotel in lovely quiet setting some distance from Comillas centre. Rooms spacious with all mod cons and very comfy bed. Lovely view down to sea from balcony. Ample free parking, and pool very welcome on hot day.
Breakfast was very good. We were on the DBB rate and the food on this rate was disappointing, certainly for the price. The choice was some very dry tasteless pasta, a tiny piece of fish or a chewy dry piece of cheap pork. Some Italians at the next table were eating off the a la carte menu, and it looked little better. No doubt there are some fine places to eat in Comillas, but they would require transport to reach.

It is impossible to give a higher rating to this superb hotel despite many positive aspects. What a shame!

First visit for 6 nights for 2 people in this 4-star hotel where everything is new, clean, very comfortable, well-equipped, and located with very friendly and pleasant staff. "I think of Mr. Roberto" who served us at the table. Bravo and thank you. BUT! During our 6 days, we were subjected to groups of athletes between 40 and 100 people at breakfast and dinner. WHAT NOISE! How is it possible that a hotel of this class accepts this except to generate revenue! It was AWFUL. The food was not great either. What a shame for such a beautiful establishment. What do you respond to the management of Abba Hotel?

Absolutely terrible experience. We booked a family room and got a smoking room where someone had clearly smoked very recently. Based on the smell of chemicals the staff had tried to hide it. But the barhroom smelled like in a bar. No apologies or any proactive heads-up from the staff.
Once we complained they said the hotel is full and cannot accomodate to other room. Which I of course understand. But no compensation what so ever.
Dishonest and extremely bad customer service. Would never book again.

Terrible hotel, avoid this place

We were travelling with two kids and had booked a family room. Once arriving to the room we smelled strong chemical which they had used to clean the cigarette smell away. Unfortunately, in the bathroom there was extremely strong smell still. Like someone had smokoed earlier the day.
When complaining, they said hotel was full. Which I of course understand. But they didn’t do anything to compensate.
Really poorly handled situation which left experience that would absolutely never return to this hotel.

Rude staff

This hotel would have been great if it wasn't for the staff. Rude, slow and unprofessional.
Rooms are nice and location good.
Room service food was great. Breakfast was a disaster one coffee machine that worked intermittently and no staff to be seen.
I would not return.
