On the occasion of a family reunion we could enjoy the apartments.

Service, maintenance, cleaning and equipment of the apartments is very good. Including the pool. They are relatively recent construction. They have everything necessary to develop the needs of the users. Located in a quiet Mood very close to the village, with the possibility of visiting the surroundings, where the numerous wineries stand out, especially the Wine Museum. It has a private garage at no cost.

A perfect base in a beautiful village

We have visited the Los Nietos restaurant for their menu del dia a few times over the years so it was an opportunity to try their apartments as we wanted to stay in Rioja region for 5 nights. We are so glad that we did book as the two bedroom apartment was spacious for a couple, immaculately clean, and furnished adequately in a modern style. Double bed comfortable, wifi ok.
There is a lift to each block so it’s easy to move car’s contents from the secure underground parking.
Paco speaks some English, his Mum Carmen none. What we couldn’t understand verbally, we all made up for in enthusiasm.
The pool was covered over already for the Winter. Being intrepid Brits, we might have tried swimming in it if it hadn’t been. No outside space with the 1st floor apartments and no seating round pool area. I’d have liked to sit out somewhere in the sunshine.
We hope to return soon.

A good base for visiting the Rioja region

The apartment was spacious and basically furnished, with all the necessary equipment. Carmen was very friendly and welcoming when we arrived very late, and throughout our stay. There seemed to be a problem with the (good sized) pool which caused a lot of heated debate amongst the other occupants, and meant we couldn’t always use it when we wanted. But this was a good place to start our holiday and from which to see the Rioja region. Briones and nearby Haro were both very attractive small places to look around and stay for a while.

Wonderful Experience in Briones

We have never experienced such hospitality afforded to us by Frank (Paco) and his mother Carmen. They were happy to offer us an apartment even though they were not open for guests yet and it was late in the day. We stayed in a two bedroom two bathroom apartment with a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside. It was very clean with all the necessities including a washing machine. Frank was a great host and we enjoyed a long lunch at his Los Nietos Restaurante which was very good value. We loved his La Rioja Red and the very late check out. We could not have met better people and highly recommend staying and eating at Los Nietos

Excellent apartment in a superb location in La Rioja

We had a two bedroom apartment with two bathrooms. Super-clean, large, with all mod cons. Wifi was free, but spotty. Secure underground garage. Carmen, the hostess, was peerless, though it will be very helpful if you speak a bit of Spanish. Briones itself is superbly located for pretty much everything between Haro and Logrono to be less than 45 minutes by car. I would come back here in a heartbeat.
