Family stay in July
We had a fantastic stay overall and would definitely recommend this hotel, especially for families.
The staff was welcoming and friendly throughout our stay. They were also very accommodating in allowing us to arrange external babysitters for our children in the evening, which made a huge difference for our group and was greatly appreciated.
The breakfast was excellent, and we also enjoyed both lunch and dinner at the hotel restaurant. The menu was varied, the food was consistently good, prices were fair, and there was a great kids’ menu. The bar was also a pleasant place to relax in the evening. The only downside was that the restaurant service was consistently very slow, even when it wasn’t busy. We also felt the bar could offer a few more aperitif options, such as simple snacks (nuts, crisps, olives…) and a more extensive cocktail selection.
The location worked very well for us: close enough to walk to Bilbao’s Old Town while still being easy to access by car. The pool was a real bonus during the summer and a big hit with the kids.
Our only real disappointment concerned the booking experience. We booked several months in advance expecting early booking to be rewarded, but shortly before our stay we noticed that the rates had become lower than the price we had paid. It was frustrating and gave the impression that booking early wasn’t really an advantage.
Aside from these points, we had a wonderful stay and would happily return.

Clean room although it was a bit small for a family room at this price point. The AC doesn't go below 20C.

The room was a good size. The pool, as others have mentioned, is small and always busy. Some days the room was better serviced than others - e.g new cups. The little fridge did not seem to work although the light was on. The breakfast is not good value for money - you’re better off going to one of the nearby bars.

The hotel staff was excellent from start to finish from reception staff to the cleaning staff.
The main problem was the outside pool area there was not enough loungers as tbere was only 26 with a full hotel and also the gym members was using the pool there needed to be at least another 26 loingers.
No pool bar very disapointing if you needed a drink on a hot day you had to go inside and geo to main bar,bery poor idea.

Family with young adults
Very clean. Nice atmosphere in lobby. Drinks reasonably priced. Don't stay here if you are looking for a family hotel. Many non-residents can access the pool and when we were there they got access earlier than the residents and took the few loungers that were there. One parasol in total and only a lounger for 1 out of every 3 people leaving more to lie on the ground. This is such an easy fix, come on management! You appear to be catering for those with club membership than residents staying here. No drinks allowed or jumping in or balls at the pool. Most people are respectful so can't see how this isn't allowed. This is a management issue though all the staff were excellent and the hotel very clean. Nice fresh fruit for breakfast although the al a carte was expensive and quality only ok.
