A lovely hotel
Stayed in this hotel for 4 nights spotless hotel staff on reception were amazing great english and very very helpful room was lovely with great view we did not eat in hotel but ate in the restaurant outside affiliated to the hotel staff here were also super pleasant and efficient on tne negative side we found the long pillows very stiff not very comfortable the patio windows certainly could do with double glazing the noise at times during the night could definitely be heard we were on the 4 th floor but it did not bother us unduly there were steps to the foyer from the street and a stairs lift I certainly would return a most pleasant stay

The Best!
Amazing location, wonderful staff and incredible value. If you just want a lovely clean hotel in one of the best locations in The Old Town Benidorm, this has to be the one! We have stayed with them 3 times now and would definitely choose them over any other hotel in Benidorm. If you want a pool, evening entertainment, English breakfast, then it isn’t for you. If you want god service, location and value for money, Hotel Colon— 100%!

Excellent service, fabulous spacious rooms
Fabulous staff, great spacious rooms, nothing was too much trouble, a little gem in Benidorm, I was travelling on my own and felt very safe

Comfortable but noisy!
We arrived at the hotel at approximately 12:30pm on the 01/11/2025 for a one week stay, when I booked the hotel room on line it said check in at 4:30pm, my partner and I were instantly booked into our room on arrival which was fantastic after being up early hours of the morning for our flight into Alicante. The room was not good, curtains wouldn’t close, tap on sink was broke and very very noisy at night. We managed to upgrade for an extra 80 euros the next morning for the remainder of the week with a sea view, this room we were informed was a deluxe room, the only difference was the electric stayed on without having to use your room key card in the allocated slot and of course the views — wow!
Once again, the outside noise was awful, I think the patio doors to the balcony must have been made of paper. Fireworks banging, drunks coming home early hours, the bin men emptying the bins, birds squawking, all seemed like this was going on in the room.
That was the only downside of the hotel room. Didn’t eat in the restaurant but if you did you could get 10% discount. Checked the menu out and would say the food was overpriced. All in all we wouldn’t stay here again,and all because of the room noise levels.
