A very proper and recommendable hotel.
Our room, which was a superior one, had a proper size, with a balcony, was very quiet, and clean.
Just one comment: the sofa and the pouf were very worn out and uncomfortable.
We had dinner one night and the dishes we chose were very good.
The breakfast was abundant, although in my opinion there was too much industrial sweet stuff, although there were also homemade cakes.
You can tell by the service that it is a family hotel: we had a small health issue and in the morning we asked if we could cancel that last night, they did not put up any obstacles and we did not have to pay anything at all, it was a thoughtful gesture that we greatly appreciate.

THE BEST HOTEL IN THE BENASQUE VALLEY
Once again we have spent part of Christmas at the Ciria hotel in Benasque, the reason: Comfort, restoration and attention. Whenever we go to Benasque we stay at the Ciria hotel, which is like our second home. The reasons are several, as I have described above, but every day, every year they are exceeded in general.
The restaurant, with chef Dioni and all his team make eating at the Fogaril restaurant a spectacular experience. Every day there is a carefully chosen menu and also has a wide variety of menu.
Star dishes are seasonal dishes with local products and carefully crafted. We must highlight the stews, rice, game and desserts, all very rich. The service by the waiters is very professional and attentive, especially the dedication of Santi and Angel in the care, along with the rest of the waiters.
About the rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable, very well equipped and with very careful rustic details. The rest is perfect, the beds very comfortable and especially the rooms acoustically are very good, you can not hear noises, either inside or outside the hotel.
The treatment by all workers is close, friendly and resolute. Special mention to the reception with Aurora and Dioni, always ready to advise the best routes and advise on any issue related to the Benasque Valley.
Looking forward to returning soon to make the best routes through the valley, taste the Benasque cuisine of Fogaril and enjoy the rest in Ciria.

Police-Confirmed Theft 1,500€ + Passport Stolen from Room During Benasque Chess Tournament
I am extremely angry and disappointed. While staying at Hotel Ciria for the XLV International Open Villa de Benasque chess tournament, someone stole my documents and 1,500 euros in cash from my backpack. The backpack remained on the floor in my locked room the entire time and never left the premises.
I filed an official Guardia Civil denuncia on 16 July 2026 (see attached redacted police report). The report confirms the theft in the hotel room in Benasque.
As a chess player/coach attending a major tournament, this security failure is completely unacceptable and it caused huge stress and disruption.
Hotels have a responsibility to protect guests' property - this one failed badly.
Warning to all travellers and chess players: Do not trust room security here. Use the safe for everything valuable.

Tour of the Pyrenees
Of the best hotels I have found in terms of location, friendly quality of service and facilities. The hotel's decor is typical of the mountain, very interesting, the room is spacious, the bed is extremely comfortable. Excellent quality/price ratio. I recommend it, no doubt.

Standard double room was cosy. Balcony made up for it.Ski resort was a 15 minute drive up the mountain. Bus only at weekends. So car park was busy. Skiing was excellent for all standards. Local atmosphere in Benasque was wonderful. It is best not to book evening meals as there is so much choice. Next year a gondola will be available from Benasque to Cerler. Definitely coming back.
