In the unspoilt Andalusian village of Benhavis, close to the coast, lies the Amanhavis hotel, an elegant and peaceful haven a short walk from the Marbella golf club.

Great birthday in a fabulous hotel
Spent my birthday at the Amanhavis,Margo couldn't of made it more special.
She added my name and birthday wishes to the menus,had a piece of cake with a flaming candle in it at the end of the meal while singing Happy Birthday with a member of staff.The room was lovely with great air conditioning, pool was cool on a very hot day and food was exceptional.I could not recommend any higher this hotel and we will definitely be back.

Hidden gem, definitely visit
We visited for 2 nights and can’t speak highly enough of the hotel, Margo and the team.
There are 9 rooms in the hotel. All individually decorated and named,
It’s small enough to feel unique and not like a hotel, it’s more home from home but with hotel amenities.
Location couldn’t be better. You can find plenty of parking just down the road to the left. And the bars and restaurants are a minutes walk away but because you are at the e end of the road, no noise from people passing.
Benahavis is wonderful, if you like hiking absolutely do the river hike. We did it at midday in 30 plus degrees which was wonderful as your shaded and wet the whole time.
Do not be put off by the hotel being 3 star, you will be treated like royalty and the food!!! Amazing!

An oasis of calm
Many years ago when staying in Benahavis we had a beautiful means at Hotel Amanhavis and promised ourselves we would be back for a stay of a few days sometime soon.
Well sometime soon was 20 years ago but we finally made it back and it lived up to our memories.
In a time when many hotels can feel so similar Amanhavis has a personality an a feel all of it's own. Whilst Benahavis is still a lovely little town it is certainly busier than we last came and our hotel provided a lovey oasis for us to relax in.
We ate again at the hotel and it did not disapoint, the fish tagine being the highlight.
If you are looking for something a little different, something more authentic then this is a great choice.

Quaint, Quirky, Quiet and Quality
Such an amazing gem tucked away in Benahavís, and perfect for our one night away.
This 9 room hotel is quaint, cosy and has the most beautiful central courtyard with a small pool, plantings, intricate pathways, a rooftop sun deck and a plethora or hidden design features.
From the moment we walked through the front door, Helena was extremely friendly, helpful and genuinely interested in ensuring we had the most positive experience during our stay. Really enjoyed our chats.
Our room was ideal, the perfect size, cosy with a smart TV, minibar, bathroom (with bath) and a large bed. The only note I would make is to watch out for the high sides of the bed frame - which can be painful if not careful.
We really enjoyed the breakfast (which we ordered the day before), prepared by our lovely host Helena and presented in a refreshingly homely way - making the breakfast a friendly and personal affair.
Worth noting, when the dining tables aren't being used for meals...a nice display of hand painted crafts are displayed for purchase. We made sure to pick up a few pieces!
Highly recommended if you're planning a stay in Benahavís.

Stunning hotel.
Truly beautiful location in lovely town. Gastronomy galore. Margot and staff were very welcoming. Bedrooms full of character. Would go back in a heartbeat and surely will soon hopefully.
