Great location.
This hotel was located really well. 30 minutes walking distance to Barcelonata Beach, the Maremagnum mall (open Sunday), Las ramblas, montjuic.
There is a launderette on the same block, kfc, some halal food outlets nearby.
Service was great- iron available on request. Bathroom had bidet and showers were hot and powerful.
The room had hard flooring but no slippers were available on request which was a shame, and bathroom door wouldn’t lock.
We didn’t have breakfast so cannot comment.

An amazing hotel
An amazing hotel. We were staying here for a concert nearby for two nights. Can’t believe this is only a two star hotel as the quality was so much higher. From when we arrived everything was perfect. Reception very friendly and room spotlessly clean. We arrived very late after our concert and our electricity wasn’t working. Within a few minutes hotel staff had this fixed for us. Beds were incredibly comfortable and we slept really well. Breakfast was a lot better than we expected. Lots of choice with good coffee and fruit juices. Selection of hot and cold food. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this hotel.

Good location, but the service can improve!
My experience had positive points and others that could be better.
The location is very good. The subway station is a few minutes walk away and this has greatly facilitated our travel throughout the city.
The room was comfortable and was in good condition. Just felt missing a niche or support inside the box to support shampoo and soap. I also noticed that the box door did not seal well and, after the bath, always ended up accumulating water on the bathroom floor.
The breakfast is simple, but meets well with what is proposed, offering enough options to start the day. The aspect that left most to be desired was the care during breakfast. Unfortunately, the team showed little cordiality and patience. At some times, there was a constant feeling of vigilance to prevent guests from taking food out of the restaurant, which made the environment very uncomfortable. It was also not even allowed to fill a bottle with water, which seemed to me an unwelcoming measure. A more cordial service and a more receptive attitude would make a significant difference in the guest experience.
Another suggestion would be to provide filtered water for guests. During this trip I stayed in some hotels that offered water filters in the common areas, and found this a very helpful care, especially for those who are not used to drinking tap water.
Despite these points, the good location and the comfort of the room made a difference. With a more welcoming service at breakfast and some small adjustments in the structure, I believe the experience would be much more pleasant.

Plumbing problems
Friendly staff, convenient location, rooms OK. Sewer smell coming up from bathroom pipes. Hotel did nothing except offer another room but said it could happen there too. Blamed the problem as an issue on their street. We had to buy an air freshener to tolerate it. It was disgusting.
