An acceptable stay in Barcelona
Travelled with my 16 year old daughter, room was clean, bathroom big, shower was powerful, shower gel/shampoo/soap/toothbrush supplied. Water supplied in mini fridge as well as kettle with tea/coffee.
Black out curtains and a quiet road so we slept pretty well.
We stayed 2 nights half board, both meals were buffet.
Wherever I go food is important as we are vegetarian. We had plenty to fill our bellies.
Breakfast- salad, fruit, cold meats n cheese, pastries, bread, bacon, eggs, sausages, fritata, yoghurt, cereals, selection of juices and coffee.
Dinner- always a fish dish and a meat dish along with lots of mediterranean vegetables and two pasta dishes. Both appeared to be vegetarian, wasn't sure though as no labelling. Always salad cold meats n cheese and bread too. Only water to drink though included with dinner. Very nice cake and tiramisu for dessert.
Staff were all very nice, all front of house have very good english.
Only thing worth improving is the labelling of the food
Overall a good stay.

Great stay and excellent location
We were very happy with our stay at Hotel Front Marítim. The hotel was very nice, clean and well maintained, and our room was always properly cleaned. The location is also excellent and very convenient. We really enjoyed our stay and would be happy to come back again. Highly recommended!

It’s Ok But Not The Best
We arrived around 1230pm and was able to check in early which was great so dropped our bags and headed straight for the beach you need to cross a road that isn’t really busy then walk through a building site to access the beach please note there is no parasols or sun-beds available at this beach there is a couple of sellers that have parasols you can either rent for €15 a day or buy one for €25 so we bought ours did us for 3 days also bring a beach towel or you can buy a big colourful sheet from €15 too there is water sports but we didn’t do any there is also no shops along the beach so please take stuff with you there is a couple of corner shops reasonably priced just outside the hotel this hotel is in the middle of no where if you do walk outside the hotel and turn right walk straight up there is about 4 restaurants with outdoor seating reasonably priced if you turn left it’s about a 15 minute walk to the shopping mall also a taxi rank right outside hotel we took one to Sagrada Família was about €15 then we hopped on a tour bus that took us around all the sites and stopped about 5 minute walk to the hotel. We did bed and breakfast after 9am it gets busy so we got down for around 830am good selection of food continental and hot only thing is you can’t fill bottles up with water to take out with you did ask for some sugar for my pancakes but waitress ignored my request quite rude I thought please don’t be deceived by the pictures of the hotel online it looks nothing like that nor do the rooms and no balcony’s rooms are tired and need updating air con barely works so got hot at night there is complimentary bottles of water in mini fridge and you get kettle with condiments also a hairdryer in the bathroom with little amenities for your stay we asked about the snack bar as stated online so receptionist said it opens at 1030am-11pm so day we checked out we wanted a drink while we waited to be picked up we asked about the bar and another receptionist said it doesn’t open until 1630pm so you can’t get anything to drink or eat so not sure about if there is actually a snack bar everyone tells you something different we had room 2417 kind of had a sea view with a building in front and some sort of generator that was noisy sometimes we did get late check out paid €20 until 3pm or it’s €40 until 4pm or €60 until 6pm but they did offer us late check out free until 2pm overall I wouldn’t return to this hotel

The staff was great and helpful, but the room needs help. The Air conditioning ran the entire time and never got below 80 degrees, we were sweating just sitting in the room. The shower stand wouldn't stay up so the shower head was always at waist level. The floor is beat up and there are no outlets near the bed for a cpap machine. Thr location was good but I wouldn't stay there again.

Horrible experience.
The room they gave us was in terrible condition. I consider the conditions to be totally incompatible with what one would expect from a 4-star establishment.
During our stay, we encountered the following deficiencies:
- The bathtub floor was sunken in the area where you step, and there was a hole. When stepping next to it, water with a clearly putrid smell and black residue came out, generating a very, very unpleasant odor.
- The shower screen was completely covered in limescale, evidencing an obvious lack of cleaning and maintenance.
- The sink was clogged and, when turning on the faucet, it would flood.
- In the room area, we found numerous small insects running across the floor. We do not know what type of insects they were, but it was an infestation, and as one would expect, their presence was very unpleasant and inappropriate for a hotel room.
- The bathroom light was so dim that it was impossible to put on makeup there.
To all this, we must add that they charged us a tourist tax of €9 per person per night, claiming that since the hotel was 4 stars according to its category, they charged more or less—thank goodness we only stayed one night!!
