The best place to stay in Barcelona!!

I had the most wonderful stay at Hostal Poblenou this past week. The staff are not only incredibly helpful, but incredibly friendly. I felt like I was staying at a friend’s house - a friend who is an excellent host. I particularly appreciated chatting with Agnes the morning of my flight home.
The rooms are clean and modern. I opted for the breakfast in the morning, and it was always delicious and timely. I should be so lucky to stay here again.

Hotel full of charm with a very nice ceiling height. Everything is very clean, the linen smells like laundry and the welcome is very nice
Nevertheless they were assigned us a room with ensuite bathroom in the corridor certainly private but we would have liked to have the info before!
The insulation of the windows is non-existent, certainly traffic is less present at night than during the day despite all the garbage truck that passes at 5h c is a shame!!
Finally the pdj is not a continental, if you take pancake it is a single pancake ...
Overall intimate hotel and very well located but modernization works would be welcome!!

Charm, character and avocado toast

Lovely little place with a lot of character. Situated in a historic building, Hostal Poblenou offers great breakfasts (try the avocado toast!), a warm welcome, beach towels and even a cat! The place is close to the beach, which is great, and a lot more quiet than the center. With public transport you can get into town very easily.

Charming!

We really enjoyed this bed and breakfast. Quiet location and kind and helpful staff, good breakfast! This neighbourhood might not be the most central to attractions, but one bus ride was usually all it took to get somewhere. I found the bus clean, frequent, and safe. What you get in return is sleeping in a neighbourhood that quiets down at night, and it has a nice, “local” feel to return to after a day of exploring the city. Great restaurants and shopping. Also a market. If you like slick, keyless entry and elevators, this hotel might not be for you, but if you like charm, a good night’s sleep, services nearby, and the advantage of staying close to Bogatell Beach ( nice just to take a coffee to and look), I highly recommend this hotel. You won’t be sorry!

Really nice place

Really nice place. Clean and extremely flexible hostel. The host (Mercedes) is very nice and helpful, regarding places to visit and help with Reservation. The breakfast is really delicious and there is plenty of it, at the same time it is individually tailored to your wishes. Our warmest recommendations.
