Great Hostal in city centre

A very friendly hotel with excellent WiFi. Right in the centre of the old town, cuitat vella, but very quiet. For the end of August we had a very good price for a twin room. Aircon a huge bonus as it was sooo hot. A spectacular big bathroom, towels changed daily and very clean (room 104)

Great location, comfy beds and great shower

One of the best hostels I have stayed in. Beds comfy . Shower amazing. Rooms cleaned, and towels changed every other day. Location is great for everything

Surprise

Despite appearances and reception can be deceiving, the room is clean and well organized with good value for money. There is everything you need and above all there is good daily cleaning. The area is great as it is very close to the Rambla and the Gothic Quarter

A decent option for a budget night out.

For the hostel, it is a great option: a large room, the air conditioning very quickly heated it to the right temperature, a very clean room, the design is very primitive, but for the night will do. The shower has a good hot water pressure (not all hostels have this). The bed is comfortable, the pillow is not great. Good noise insulation, hardly any noise from the hallway.
The smell of staleness when we first got into the room had to be ventilated. What a price! As always in Barcelona on weekend prices are through the roof!! It's a 1* hostel, but they ask €110 for a room, which is, of course, too much... On weekdays for this price you can take 3* hotel.

How we like simple and concrete people

Are you for the orange aperitif, sitting at a bar table with your legs crossed and your shirt fashionable, or are you for a mug of beer resting on the step, sitting on the steps of a Gothic Cathedral with your friends who don't give a shit about fashion?
If you belong to the second category the hospitable is for you. It shyly overlooks a street full of life and colors, 30 meters from the Rambla, in a beautiful building because it is its years and proudly demonstrates them. No luxury, no stonewalling, no gambling. Only what you need. Cleanliness, hot water, comfortable bed and unexpected tranquility. It's cheap. An elementary and welcoming cocoon after the liveliness of the alley, the Rambla , the splendid Church of Pi, the tapas resting in mosaic on the table. Friendly and present staff 24h in the concierge, to remind you that what matters is human contact. As does Barcelona, 24 hours a day
