Great place!

We never planed to stay in barbastro but we got here accidently. We stayed in a double room, which was nice, cozy and very clean. We paid 50 euros for the room. The manager was a nice and welcoming lady who helped us in everything we needed. It is highly reccomended to stay in this hostal!!

Good food, friendly staff, and they allow pets, but do not go in a hurry.

The food is good, but speed would not be one of its main virtues.
However, and for me it was very important, they allow pets and are friendly.
The quality/price ratio is good.
I would probably return if I am in the area again.

Central, clean but outdated

Good service. Parcos in the bath soap. Very comfortable beds. Establishment in urgent need of a renovation of the approaches, complicated staircase with poor lighting, and toilets that need to be renovated.
Very central, 50 meters from the market square, access with vehicle a bit problematic, but possible.
Good menus, without too much variation and fair breakfast.
I find the price high, for the quality of the establishment, but I am still out of step, 68.00 double and € 80.00 triple for a Hostel....

Hostel of horrors. Sleeping in Mordor.

We arrived three friends for personal reasons at this "HOST". The surprise was that as soon as we arrived, the reservation we had was not recorded. Luckily there was room. The second surprise comes when the front desk lord asks us for the ID and starts writing all the data on a notebook, when by law they have to be scanned and sent. We were out of sorts. We move to the rooms, and incredible humidity, apart from a typical decor of Tell Me, but come on if it is clean and all else works we would not have cared. We arrive at night, the heating does not work, cold air comes out, icy room with 2 degrees in the street, one of my friends puts the heater that was in the bathroom and the power goes out in several rooms. I had to sleep in a hat, frost. In the morning I will explain everything to Reception and an incredible stepping stone of the man who was, explaining that the owner was on the holiday flight (the day before I was already on the flight). I ask him for the letter of claim and he tells me that they do NOT have when by law it is mandatory, but according to him he did not know that it was, but it turns out that paying just to enter if it was mandatory by law. He decides that he gives me the money back and the man did not know how to make a refund on the card where he had paid. The worst hostel I've ever been to. Do not go, or if you are going to go with thermal sleepwear, and do not forget that they do not have a letter of claim. LOUSY.
