Great resort, great holiday
Beds very comfortable, large wardrobe space, nice bathroom with walk in shower, ahower gel and shampoo supplied. kitchenette perfect with 3 of everything, balcony large with a small clothes airer.
Tvs in both bedroom and living area which could be connected to Netflix, Prime, YouTube etc.
Self service Laundrette on site.
Rent a fan - the fans installed in the bedroom don't do much when you are Irish and find the warm temps at night uncomfortable. They cost about 10euro for the week with a 20 euro deposit.
Small games room, kids club, amazing seawater pool which is deep, smaller shallow pool for kids also available and lifeguard supervision. Lots of sunbeds with plenty of shade.
Small beach/inlet beside the pool access is operated by lifeguard.
Breakfast food is fantastic, fresh and tasty, many options. We ate out for other meals or went round local hiperdino tk get supplies for lunch in the apartment.
Staff are lovely and very helpful especially Sergio who worked at the front desk.
Entertainment staff did a great job also.
Location is beautiful and relaxed and feels authentic.
Surrounding restaurants were mostly fish and pizza places - no obvious kids menu but with the aid of hand gestures and Google translate, meals for the child were ordered very successfully. We even learned a bit of Spanish - Los Galletos does not really cater to English speaking tourist but it's manageable.
We had to travel to the more touristy spots to get booking the trips and see the touristy things but we expected that from reading other reviews.
It has been my favourite holiday resort and would 100% stay again.

Great stay
The hotel offers great value for money. The huge seawater pool is absolutely stunning and was one of the highlights of our holiday. Our apartment was spacious, comfortable and very clean.
The only area that I think could be improved is the cleanliness of the communal areas. The apartment itself was spotless, but the corridors and staircases could benefit from a little more attention to detail. During our 7-day stay, there was a spider and a spider web on the ceiling above the staircase that remained there for the entire week, giving the impression that these areas were not checked regularly.
It is worth mentioning that some people live permanently at the hotel. This did not affect our holiday, but it may be useful information for future guests.
Most of the staff were genuinely kind, friendly and hardworking. The reception team was especially helpful and always happy to assist. I had only one unusual experience at the bar, where a tall man wearing glasses responded to my order in Spanish after I had ordered in English, as if he wanted to give me a language lesson. I found it a little odd and slightly rude, but it did not spoil our holiday.
A special thank you goes to the entertainment team, who did a fantastic job throughout our stay. The aqua gym sessions were especially impressive, full of energy and encouraged many guests to take part.
Finally, I would like to thank the entire team for their hard work. You are doing a wonderful job, and thanks to your efforts I was able to truly relax and enjoy a much-needed break. We left with beautiful memories of Tenerife and Ona Alborada, and we hope to come back again.

Disappointed
Very disappointing experience. I genuinely don’t understand how this hotel can advertise itself as all inclusive when so many basic things cost extra.
The food was one of the biggest letdowns. Breakfast was the only meal with a decent amount of choice, but lunch and dinner had very little variety. After a couple of days, it felt like the same limited options over and over again. For the price of this hotel, I expected much better. The all inclusive pizza was awful, and if you wanted proper ice cream, you had to pay extra. The only ice cream included was a few basic flavours in cartons.
The hotel is also misleading. There is no air conditioning in the rooms, and if you want a fan, you have to pay extra. In Tenerife, that’s something that should be made very clear before people book.
Housekeeping was another huge disappointment. Rooms are only cleaned once every 7 days, and if you want fresh towels before then, you have to pay. Charging guests extra for clean towels in an all inclusive hotel is honestly unbelievable.
Throughout our stay, it felt like every little thing came with an extra charge. Instead of feeling like an all inclusive holiday, it felt like the hotel was constantly trying to make more money from its guests.
Overall, this hotel is poor value for money, misleadingly advertised, and not somewhere I would stay again. I definitely wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for a true all inclusive experience.

We clarify all room features and service frequencies in pre-booking materials, including cooling solutions and cleaning schedules.
Our culinary team works hard on varied menus across three daily meals, though we'll revisit the dinner rotations. Optional extras like premium desserts are always disclosed upfront to avoid surprises.
Hopefully we can welcome you back for a more enjoyable stay soon.
Take care,
Ona Alborada
