Quality service
We went to eat with the family and were treated very quickly and professionally. The place is idyllic. The food is fine and they have a varied offer of sandwiches, tapas and grilled meats. The owners are very friendly and attentive. We will return without a doubt.

Rip-off.
The price for 2 beers and a plate of four olives was $8.10, which I found expensive.

Zero for the person who runs the restaurant
I am only going to refer to the restaurant and in particular to the girl who has run it for not too long.
The place and the terrace are perfect to recover after one of the many excursions that can be done.
The problem is that the midday menu they have is overpriced (€24) for a place frequented by backpackers and hikers (it's a hostel!) and where they take advantage of the lack of supply. They have a menu of sandwiches and burgers. I asked the waiter for one and we could hear everyone on the terrace shouting to the owner from inside and in a very rude manner that those options were not served, only a menu. The same screams occurred when another couple who arrived later ordered some sandwiches. It was quite embarrassing and uncomfortable. As a result, the client who had arrived after me came in, they argued and ended up insulting each other. Too bad because the place is good. Very little professionalism and as I say, excessive price for the type of clientele that frequents the area.

shame!
La Rectoria , Albanya ....sopar
If you are not a local don't expect to get served here until everyone else has been very courteously attended to. You will be almost completely ignored and then grudgingly given something to eat. The food is OK but a bit expensive and the attitude of the staff towards non-Catalan speakers is appalling.

Keen hospitality, local produce
One night before starting this year's GR12 trek towards the Bay of Biscay along the Pyrenees. As last year, we were greeted with keen courtesy and introduced to the ongoing upgrading work, that was no nuisance at all. The food was a very tasty and healthy composition of local products, particularly vegetables and mushrooms. We were here in July last year as well, ending our starting trek from the Mediterranean at Cabo Cruz. The village is a really interesting place, among the Dark Villages (low artificial lighting), great for stargazing.
