Great option

Friendly hotel, well located, 15 minutes walk from the train station. With comfortable rooms although with excessively soft beds. Amenities in bathroom, TV,...
Very correct!, very friendly reception and buffet breakfast for 7'50.
My grade is 8 out of 10.
Correct prices!

Terrible owner, I pity the staffs who work there

I showed up at the hotel with a bike. Was told “we don’t allow bikes in the hotel. It’s clearly listed in booking.com”. Nope. I showed them the listing page, no mentioning of bicycle either way. They wouldn’t refund our booking either, despite the error being their responsibility.
The staff was apologetic. He called the owner, who said it’s not their fault that booking.com didn’t show it. Right, you’re not responsible for the listing? Moreover, all other hotels in Spain sent a message to the clients book through 3rd party platforms to re-iterate any specifics about the hotel. Not them!
There’re actually plenty of space in the hotel to stash more than one bike. But no, the owner wouldn’t allow it, even when the staff try to help us find a place to park the bike.
I ended up booking a room next door for the next night. They happily accept my bike ahead of my check-in date. Hotel Moon lost one night of business. I hope the owner is happy with that result.
Who knows what other restriction the hotel has that’s not shown up on booking.com. Your guess is as good as mine (but not as good as the owner’s random decision )

Scary Moon

Very bad experience we had at the hotel.
The reception girl, very attentive, but the rooms and area stairs, very dirty.
Our room, the bathroom included, was full of hair and debris. The box spring of one of the beds had its legs about to come loose (it danced everywhere), the furniture was broken and the wear was evident.
I put two points on it for the location and attention of the receptionist. We're not coming back.

A lovely holiday in a lovely hotel.

Arrived early and the lovely receptionist let us put our bags in the hotel, whilst we enjoyed the sun!
On return at 2pm, our room was ready. The room was fine. It was clean, lovely thick curtains, quiet. The only issue was that the double bed was 2 singles pushed together. For a couple, this was less than ideal as cuddling up did mean a fall down the hole in the centre
Breakfast was very basic. I'd recommend not buying the breakfast and instead having a walk to the Old Town and eat at the bakeries there.
Overall it was a lovely stay. Staff were helpful. One taught me a little Spanish! They ordered the airport taxi for us.
Some staff don't speak English, but we're very willing to communicate using Google translate. I'd love to return!

Poor customer service and faulty air conditioning on the fourth floor of the hotel.

As the only positive detail of the hotel is the location....
On the other hand, the rooms had a lot of wear and tear and dirty curtains, they need to improve.
The worst was the air conditioning. In the evening when I had it long on I called the front desk so they could see why it wasn't cooling. One of the front desk clerks went upstairs and put his hand in front of the air conditioner saying he was throwing fresh air, which was wrong. The air was in fan mode, not cold. He told me he couldn't help me anymore, because in his review, the air conditioning was working. I asked him to see another room if the same thing happened to the air conditioning, but he told me that they were all the same and that he could not help me anymore. I have been very hot during the night because it is summer and without air conditioning you have a very hard time. The hotel overlooks a busy street and opening the window is also not viable because of the noise.
The next day, I told my colleague at the reception what had happened and she told me that the fourth floor of this Hotel has communicated the air conditioning and that is the problem they have, that if someone in another of the rooms on the fourth floor puts the air conditioning in fan or heating in the other rooms no longer cools. What I don’t understand is how this employee, knowing this, has not checked in the other rooms the status of his Air Conditioner to be able to solve my problem.
It was easier for him to tell me I was wrong and leave than to try to help me.
I will not return to this hotel or recommend it if you want to have the room in good condition, ideal temperature and quality service.
I think this person had the possibility to help me more than he did, what happens is that I had already paid them at check in, so it is very easy to no longer listen to your customers.
Totally disappointed by the staff management, they couldn’t do with a customer service course.
Good luck.
