Relaxing

We stayed here 2 night over a weekend period.
Accomadation was awesome and a huge wooden deck to enjoy the River View.
We also took a walk to the waterfalls that is about 8km through the forest.
We had a BBQ on Saturday night and we were lucky to enjoy this space on our own.
Gerhardt was always near if you required additional help.
Wilderness was a great escape for the weekend and will pop in soon.
A must see if you driving past.

Convenient stop on the garden route

Stayed only one night on our garden route journey. Off the main road overlooking the river, quiet and convenient. Bed was really comfortable so was the sofa bed for the children. Owner was extremely polite, helpful and welcoming. Lives on top of the three rooms.
Rooms have an individual patio and share the big yard overlooking the river. Opposite the place there was canoeing and there are several hikes you can take if you are there for some action and not just an overnight stay.
Rooms are serviced weekly. Only shower gel is available so do bring your own toiletries.

Clean and well designed room

My family of four with young kids had a nice one night stay. The room was very clean and well designed with plenty of space for us. The views from the deck were beautiful and the host very helpful and friendly. I’m giving a good rating only because there is little outdoor space for kids to play, just the deck.

Fantastic!!

We spent 3 nights at the RiverView and we could not fault the place on anything.
Our unit was spotless so was the garden and surrounding area. Beautiful and tastefully decorated living space with everything you need. A stunning view from the deck where you can enjoy your sun downers or drinks while having your barbecue or a meal. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and the area is dead quiet at night for a peaceful sleep.
We highly recommend the RiverView for any kind of traveler.
