Pleasant, safe accommodation

We are pensioners who wanted a stop-over for 1 night whilst passing through Rustenburg. Our main criteria was staying in accommodation that is safe. Palm Lodge, being situated across the road from a police station, fitted the bill nicely. The plumbing in the room needs attention and the room is rather darkish, but there is a lovely roof balcony over the restaurant and the food and drinks are good quality and good value. We enjoyed our short stay.

Prevent disappointment and stay elsewhere.

I rather went home after a long days work before sleeping over one more night.
Don't be scammed please.
The rooms are neglected and normal necessities not working.
No power at the self-catering units during power outages.
Money hungry owner.

Disappointed because i was referred.

Upon booking, no clarification of rooms, no Fridge and microwave and we my team stayed there for 2 nights, misrepresenation on internet that there's free wifi and free breakfats. unfriendly staff even on the phone. I will never book for our teams in that place,their breakfast not up to standrd as well.

Hands down the worst stay ever

Room smelt strongly of smoke. Bedding was filthy. Other customers were loud and no proper security or service to assist. Rooms are boiling hot with no aircon. If you wanted to sleep go somewhere else, this is basically Rustenburg's brothel.

Denied pool access

Very nice and cosy 3 star place. Was not happy with the fact that they didn’t allow us to use the pool during our stay on Xmas. They said they didn’t have a liquor licence to open the pool bar and the pool was inside the bar. Defeated our whole purpose and the kids were unhappy ☹️
