Unique experience
This review is of the restaurant and not the accommodation. It is an experience like no other and perhaps could only happen in a place like the Hogsback.
Instead of the usual professional, reserved greeting, we were warmly introduced, by name, to the owner, the chef and the owner's dogs. The chef came out and explained each dish before serving and returned to ensure everything was OK.
As impressive as this was, it was nothing compared to the quality of the food. I have eaten at many restaurants in several countries, but this was much tastier than anything I have eaten in years. What a find!
