Top hostel in Bled

One of the best hostels in Bled. We spent amazing holidays in Bled, this hostel really impressed us. So we really recommend that you visit them. Stuff is so nice, and friendly. You get all the information to easily travel around Bled.

SCAM DO NOT BOOK

SCAM! I booked around January with a refundable booking, cancelled and didn't get my money back. Ive been messaging back and forth but the response is slow, and they ignore my message most the time. DONT COME HERE, IT IS A SCAM (will delete if i get my money back but cant imagine so)

Stole money from the card

Watch out, crooks! Booked this hostel through a popular website. The owner demanded extra money for nothing (scam). When I refused to pay for the air, I cancelled my reservation, and a couple of hours later I stole money from my card. Police and bank reports have already been filed

Great Host, Good Hostel

The owner of the hostel is what makes it. Really went out of his way with his guests to make them feel welcome. Our taxis to the train station were organised, and any query or question about the area we had was welcomed.
The bedroom space is nice and airy, although I would note that two of the six top bunks do not have barriers and are not placed against a wall. Slight safety hazard if you move in your sleep! Great bathrooms facilities for a hostel, with multiple toilets and 3 showers so you are never queuing to go. Decent kitchen facilities, and the hostel itself is in an amazing location right beside Lake Bled.
My only slight criticism would be the lack of communal area and small size of the hostel, and how it creates an informal atmosphere. The evening time feels more like you're staying in a University accommodation than a hostel, and because of this I found in the evening time it can become quite noisy.
If you're in Bled I however would recommend as you're guaranteed to have a pleasant stay!

Welcoming staff but poor accommodation

The staff here are really lovely and the set up is extremely informal. However, the facilities are poor; it's extremely small and the shower head is not fixed to the wall so you have to hold it while showering. You also have to pay extra for towels and padlocks. On the plus side, it's very close to the lake.
