Disappointing
We stayed at the Hotel Axil, and while everything went relatively well at first, our departure unfortunately left a very negative impression.
When we arrived, we paid a late check-out until 7pm, which was convenient because our flight was at 12:05am. On the day of departure, at 18:30, we receive a call from the reception asking us to vacate the room. I then inform the receptionist that our departure is scheduled for 7pm, as agreed at check-in. I am then told that from 7pm, an extra night will be charged.
I wonder: are all customers leaving at 12:00 am called at 11:30 am to remind them of the deadline, and do they also risk billing in case of 5 minutes overrun? This Processing gives the impression of lack of flexibility, unnecessary rigidity, and a certain contempt for the customer.
In addition, it is obvious that the room was not going to be rebooked after 7pm (no cleaning planned at this time), which makes this insistence all the more incomprehensible. A little common sense and customer consideration would have been welcome.
Finally, if I had known that the Customer Service would be so unaccommodating, I would have asked for a change of room from day one: impossible to sleep after 8am because of the construction site directly opposite, making our rest very complicated.
In short: no commercial fiber, rigid management and little respect for the customer. Too bad, because with a little more listening and flexibility, our experience could have been much better. But we're not coming back.
