Relaxing resort

LOCATION
Around 15 minutes drive from ferry terminal. Directly across road from a wharf area that had the clearest water! Also could jump off and fish from.
ROOM
stayed in a garden room huge. 2 double/queen beds. Awesome large shower with open roof.
Great space. Newly renovated.
Bed was comfy and large.
No wifi reception in room. Only worked near pool and restaurant.
AMENITIES
Only the 1 restaurant. Suitable item selection. Had 3 nights and that was enough to try and not double up. The fried chicken was amazing and boneless. The pizza oven was not working which was not ideal.
Buffet breakfast was small but ok. Only 1 protein, and hard boiled eggs.
The pool was great. Had a swim up bar, only really open for happy hour, and had a lot of cocktail options.
The swim wharf was great. They had kayaks that you could use, and the tables on the wharf was a nice place we had lunch. There was a jump off platform but also a ladder to get out of the water. So blue!
OVERALL
I really enjoyed this hotel. Staff were nice. Options to organise a day tour around to the lava ruins, turtles, mangroves was great. Took us to the markets and back.
Little shop at reception with nice souvenirs and hand made items.
Nice and open space.

Had tea here

We didn’t stay here but we came for tea one night. It wasn’t anything to rave about premises, service or food-wise but it was a pleasant meal, I’d probably go back again if on the island again for any length of time.

Beautiful experience

Beautiful resort, not directly on the beach but just across the road. The personnel is very friendly and kind. The food is superb!

Pleasant stay

This was a great resort with amazing staff. My garden view room was spacious, clean and quiet. The shower in the bathroom had an open ceiling and had rusty taps with low shower pressure. This was the only thing i didn't like about the resort. The restaurant served some amazing food for dinner and the free breakfast was decent. I booked a tour of the island through their team, which was fantastic. The owner Henry and his team including Walter went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and organised a tour that catered to my interests at a reasonable cost. The oceanfront area of the resort is simply breathtaking and is a great place to relax, swim, kayak or snorkel.

Great stay at Amoa Resort!

We had a great stay at Amoa Resort! Parking was easy and check-in was smooth. The room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. We had a room with an outdoor shower, which was a unique experience! The views from the beach area were gorgeous, and the pool area was very nice. We had breakfast and dinner at the restaurant on-site and enjoyed both. The staff were very friendly. We would definitely return in the future, and would recommend this resort!
