Such a good place - highly recommend

Thank you so much Talanoa Fales for accomodating myself and my mum & aunty for the last 4 days.
I was referred by my sister in law who found you via FB & instantly I asked for her to book us in ASAP.
When we checked in on Monday the service was absolutely beyond words, cannot fathom how happy we are with Talanoa fales.
We were greeted and given a plate of fruits & water bottles.
Breakfast was served every morning, different varieties of breakfast which is inclusive of the room price.
Aircon was absolutely strong in this humid weather.
The rooms were absolutely clean & tidy which concluded the kitchen and bathrooms.
It had every essentials that we needed.
Such a good sleep every night we stayed here, cannot fault anything.
Staff here are just so outstanding with their customer service very exceptional.
Thank You Talanoa fales I highly recommend this place to everyone and most definitely will he staying here again as well as spreading the word to families.

Family visit

We stopped here to visit family. Very very cool fales! Nice location with plenty of room outside for the kids to run around. Fales are also private too with plenty to offer! Great friendly and welcoming staff and a great location. Beautiful plants and gardens.

Beautiful gardens, lovely people

arrived at 5 a.m. but this was no problem for Jacinta who was ready and welcomed us warmly. Best of all, she left us alone after a few minutes, sensing that we needed some sleep. Woke and explored a couple of hours alter - gardens were immaculate and bursting with colour. Beds were comfortable, fale was spotlessly clean with a natty little kitchen provided which we used for several meals. Also provided breakfast - bread, eggs, coffee, milk, and an enormous bowl of delicious tropical fruit.
Local bus (4 tala to Apia city for2 adults, 2 kids) goes past front gate.
Only downside was the early morning wakeup from some nearby roosters who were fairly persistent.

It was a pleasure hosting you and your beautiful daughters. After you left we hosted our first meeting ever at Fale 5 where you first stayed. It was a small board meeting for Goshen Mental Health Services. The members were very happy and enjoyed the cool breeze at our Samoan fale where your family had dinner and your breakfast sometimes. Talanoa Fales - Cute Island Style Fales in Moamoa

Talanoa Fales is such a gorgeous place to stay. Situated in the village of Moamoa it is very close to the Apia Township - it only costs you a $1 tala bus ride to go from Talanoa Fales to Apia Shopping area. This place is very private, has gorgeous and lush tropical surroundings. "Uncle" Felise tends to the grounds there and he ensures that the grounds are kept immaculate. The fales are quaint, very clead and rooms are good with the added protection of mossie screens on the windows. There are TV's in the rooms as well as a communial Fale outside where you can sit in, cool down and watch the news if you really want to. We had a room with air-con and this was a great feature as Samoa can get really hot. It is secure as in you can lock up your fales and I loved how at night time when we would go out that Felise would wait until we all got back before closing the big gate to Talanoa Fales, therefore ensuring we were all safe and secure whilst we slept. Owner Jacinta Vaise ensures that you are taken care of and popped in every morning to see if "all was well". Her local knowledge is next to none and she can always point you in the right direction from places to eat to where to shop. The atmosphere is beautiful and this place was really a home away from home for us. They even stock-up the fridge with milk, eggs, water and bread and you can even help yourself to the Pawpaw, Banana's, Mangoes and Pineapples that grow on the property. On Sunday you even get to eat yummy delicacies provided for you from Jacinta and her team. Laundry was opened on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and we provided our own washing powder and did our washings. The lovely ladies who work there even took down our washings and folded them. Talanoa Fales is private, beautiful, secure, clean and when you are there it will really feel like your home away from home.

Peacefull bush setting.

Quaint enclosed fales, Set in beautiful gardens in a peaceful area up by the base of Mt Vaea. The staff are extremely friendly and Jacinta the owner is very helpful. She left fresh fruit and milk in the fridge, as well as butter, coffee, sugar cereal and tea.
The fales are fully self contained with hot showers and are approximately a 20 minute bus ride from Apia center. The bus costs WST $2 and goes past frequently. Alternatively the there are lots of taxis and it cost us WST $70 from the airport.
I recommend Talanoa fales to people who want affordable, private self contained accommodation in a peaceful setting but still close to Apia and its surrounding attractions.
