Calm room in Kigali
I booked this hotel because it was very well located and also very affordable.
Accordingly, I was curious to see how good the value for money was.
I paid for the hotel on site, but booked it online, both of which worked out very well.
They even helped me exchange money and drove me to the supermarket.
The helpfulness is above average.
The bed was very large and the room was clean overall.
The WiFi worked well for the most part, except on my departure day, when it was “used up,” but the receptionist immediately tried to find a solution.
The breakfast was personally modeled after the Rwandan breakfast and was totally sufficient for me.
It was brought to my room at a time I specified.
I was offered a taxi for arrival and departure, which I accepted, although I paid a very high price for the arrival and the driver was also late.
Overall, a good place to stay, with a few organizational shortcomings. The bathroom had a few flaws (broken toilet seat, dilapidated sink, no hot water), but was functional overall.
Highly recommended for budget travelers, especially since the city center is within walking distance.
