Very pleasant stay, olympic poll, good food, ice cream, gym, eveything you want in one place. Not far from town an not very crowded.

Decent facilities, poor service

Although the facilities are nice, they aren't maintained well. We wanted to change the reservation to reduce the number of guests, Booking.com said they would ask the hotel and then the hotel didn't respond. The hotel receptionist said that the issue was with Booking.com, so neither wanted to accommodate our request - to the detriment of the guests, of course. We thought the spa would provide towels, however, they don't, so you are supposed to use the same towel you get in the room in the spa as well, to sit in the sauna, or wipe your sweat after the sauna, and then take a shower in your room. One towel is enough according to the hotel!!! If that is their criteria for hygiene, who knows what other hygiene maintenance issues are implemented there. The pool is long and divided into lanes, but still crowded, similarly to the jacuzzi which we never went into, because once we saw there was nobody in it, we realized the water had been drained! And the working hours of the spa are until 9 pm, however they start switching everything off at 8 15! We barely got a chance to use the facilities. We had a spacious apartment (suite), I am not going to comment on the decoration style... In the middle of the night, I was woken up by flashes of blue and red lights which was pretty scary. I figured out they were coming from the standby light on the TV (which I hadn't used or touched the remote), I covered that side of the TV with my jacket, so that I could sleep. In the morning, there was no heating in the apartment! The hallway was warm, but inside our rooms were cold. After a breakfast that was OK, not too bad, but far from good, we checked out and told the receptionist of some issues and he said: It's OK! So guests that can't sleep, have no heating and have to pay for an extra guest even though the guest is not there, is OK for the Spa Ice Resort hotel... Bad experience overall

Completely despicable

a hotel that's not worth its price. The heating suddenly stopped, I caught a cold, I went to the reception, the manager behaved very badly. I asked to change the booking dates because I'm not sure. That was impossible. Totally despicable. The experience left me with a bitter taste.

Alright

Not bad, but not very good - a little above average: nice, clean and spaceous room, with the lingering specific smell embedded in the carpets (worst on the unaired hallways). Clean, but unfinished bathroom (disabled interactive mirror and missing lamp). Too many plastic birds for my taste :). Eclectic furnishing style. Breakfast below average - low variety foods, woobly, heavy and unstable chairs..

Unfriendly welcome!

Positive point: 8 minutes from the airport but be careful about 20-25 minutes. from the center of Timișoara. We arrived a little early and were offered a room with two beds while we waited for ours to be ready. Afterwards it was impossible to get the room we had reserved with a double bed (therefore more expensive). The reception even hung up on us when we tried to talk a little. The breakfast was very poor (few sweet things) and the waitresses closed like prison doors. Better used to it in Romania.
