Family holiday Helios Sulina

We stayed at this guesthouse for a week with our family, in a double room and a twin room. The rooms are spacious, very comfortable, and everything is new and of excellent quality.
The owner is always around and ready to help with anything you might need, from booking trips, to recommending restaurants. On a few evenings, we decided to have dinner at the guesthouse itself. The restaurant is new, as is the terrace, and the food was simply outstanding! We had the best and most varied fish we have ever tasted.
The guesthouse was recommended to us by friends who return year after year, and now we completely understand why. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend it!

A disappointing, overpriced stay

Unfortunately, our experience here was quite poor overall. Cleanliness was poor, hot water non-existent, just lukewarm at best after a good 20 minute wait, flies on the breakfast, walls were paper-thin, you could hear everything from all your neighbours, the pillows were very lumpy, The price is double of a normal, good hotel in a good city, so not worth it at all. You're only allowed two coffees at breakfast and they're never hot, there's only one type of tea sometimes, and the buffet plates were never refilled. There was no one at the service desk most of the time which was the only way of getting anything. The owner will make you book directly through the hotel and not through booking.com so they don't get bad reviews.
