Unimpressed by this hotel - would not return.

Despite the positive reviews, this hotel was sadly lacking in so many ways. Having arrived quite late I found the bed without a duvet. Hunting around I found one in the wardrobe but it had a massive rip in it. It was too late to do anything about it but exchanged it the following day with a less than sympathetic concierge who seemed to believe I was somehow responsible for the state of this duvet. Breakfast was a truly sad affair - clearly Ok if you are Romanian but of little use if you are an international guest. And then there's the wifi which is patchy in the bedrooms and I found tethering to my phone the easier solution. I was quite pleased to leave and would not return.

Hidden Gem

Stopped here in a King Suite with my husband for 2 nights, visiting family and was seriously impressed. The room was bigger than most of the flats I've ever owned! Everywhwere was kept clean and we really liked the fact that there were sofas on each floor if you wanted to relax/have a drink/wait for lift. LOL, Not that we're lazy. Every member of staff we came into contact with were helpful, friendly and courteous. Don't expect a full English or American breakfast though, it's traditional fare. Everything we had was fresh and flavoursome - cold meats, salads, cheeses, etc. 10 minute walk to the metro and retail park. A fraction of the price of hotels in Bucharest and only 20 minutes on the metro into the city centre. Only 10 days to go before our next visit and cannot wait to get into the outdoor pool and top up our tans!

Great Place to stay in Buchares

We stayed just for one night, but the hotel made a great impresion. We checked in a non-smoking room, with a large space, very clean. The hotel receptionist, Maria , mooved very fast and we checked in in less than 5 minute. The hotel staff was very good and very helpfull.

Successful meeting

My company booked a meeting room and some rooms for a training session.
The meeting room was arranged as planned, the coffee break, lunch and dinner that we prearranged have been served on time and the food was very good.
My colleagues from outside of Bucharest, that had to sleep at the hotel, have been pleased with their rooms and said they look forward to next business trip if we decide to book the same hotel. :)
And we even managed to keep expenses within the planned budget.
