Nice hotel, over the expectation

Very beautiful rooms in the hotel, with reasonable prices. The rooms overlooking the pool, large and silent (rooms in the hotel much more beautifull, comparing with the rooms in the hostel). Quality restaurant with romanian specialities. Pretty good breakfast, but not so varied.

Very long waiting time

We waited on a table for 50 minutes while the waiters were passing by and didn't take our orders. We asked them to at least bring the menu 4 or 5 times and the reply was each time: "later".

Loud concert every night!

BEWARE! It's not a hotel to get a good sleep. There's a restaurant and almost every night live music is being played. With big speakers. Until late night. It's impossible to sleep in these conditions, even with ear protection.
Reception is rude, don't even try to ask to lower the volume.
Drunk maintenance guys are never sober and always aggressive.

Wishful fantasy

Situated next to a noisy high traffic highway, this place is trying to give an illusion of an old fort with greek-itlian setup. The rooms are large and nice with perfectly plastic overdoing of furniture and design. Large swimming pool, very good restaurant, messy useless gym, and if you happen to be on a night when some party is going on then extremely noisy - mixed feelings

Recommended Tranzit Inn

Much better than many other 4 stars hotels in Craiova, but it is not in the town, aprox. 20 km on the road to Drobeta.
Very good traditional restaurant with terace.
Outdoor swiming pool very large. Nice people.
