Excelent location, amazing staff, quiet and very welcoming

Everything excellent from perfect location close to city center and still very quiet, to free unexpected upgrade to junior suite, to nice terrace with good food, clean room and amazing staff. Totally recommend and Dumbrava will be my first option for next trips to Bacau.

Simply superb service

We stayed in one of the rooms that hadn’t been recently renovated because it had a bathtub. Our son and his family stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms and found it spectacular. Apparently, they’ve been using the renovated rooms, so didn’t realize that the TV wasn’t working, but once we notified them, they promptly brought in another TV with many apologies. The staff overall was exceedingly solicitous and the breakfast was great. The staff remembered the orders and preferences of our 5 person group from day to day and couldn’t have been more helpful. They live up to their sign out front: “Come as a guest, leave as a friend.” We look forward to coming back.

Good hotel, great staff

It’s pretty much what you would expect from a 4 star hotel, but the staff (especially Eugen and Anca) are meant for 5 star hotels, very friendly and professional! Highly recommend!

Not frendly!!

The hotel is an old comunist building refurbished in a new hotel.
The very bad thing is that the personal is still in the old era.
They are all very dismissive if you want small things like an other key telling you they have not!!
I am here with my husband and we have different program. So we need another key, I do not think that in our times a cartel key is a problem for a supposed to be a 4 star hotel!!
