Nice infrastructure, but minimal contact.

5 apartments in a tropical garden. Yeah, sure.
Quiet at the edge of St-Pierre on the edge of a quiet field. Yeah, good.
Apartment bright and very clean. Excellent bedding.
Regret: The owners working weekdays (it is to their credit) and taking out the WE (it is indeed their right), the breakfast tray being delivered directly to the terrace, so the opportunities for exchange are minimized (by phone if necessary).
This is the concept of 'contactless' suitable for the guest room. Too bad.

DISAPPOINTING STEP

I rented a studio for 3 people for 2 nights and I admit I was disappointed with the place given the Asking Award. Breakfast is really a scam because 1 pastry with a juice, 1 quarter banana and a nespresso capsule for 10 euros per person is more than exaggerated. The studio is very poorly soundproofed especially if there is a family above! The pool is misplaced and really cold has this season. This was our worst experience of the 3-week trip to Reunion Island!

Quiet, relaxing, comfortable place to stay

Very comfortable and relaxing place to stay. The buildings seem to be quite new, and you can see that Frank takes a lot of effort to keep everything in great condition. We stayed in one of the studio apartments, which was large and had everything we needed. The terrace was the perfect place to sit and have breakfast, or to watch the sun set over the sea at the end of the day.
In theory breakfast wasn’t included, but the fridge was well-stocked with yogurt, milk and juice, there was plenty of tea and Nespresso capsules, and Frank left fresh bread, croissants and pains au chocolat for us outside the door every morning. It’s also great that there is a (fast and efficient) washing machine available for guests to use.
I’ve seen other reviews commenting on the condition of the access road. It’s only an unpaved track, but we found it no problem, even in a small car.

Nice place, location a bit problematic

My husband and I stayed there the night before we drove to see the volcano. We stayed in the duplex which was the only room available for that night. In general it was a nice room, well equipped with all furniture needed. One thing that was missing was soap, which is a small thing but important. Breakfast was nice as well and included pastries and jam. However, the route leading to the place is bumpy and somewhat defective. Besides, because of its location there was no WiFi connection inside the room, only on the balcony. That was quite problematic and does make you reconsider if it was worth it.

little gem, loved staying here

We were here for 2 nights in june 2013. We made our reservation in advance, and came into contact with Franck, one of the two very friendly owners.
The road to this B&B is unpaved and quite rough. There are also no signs to indicate that you are heading into the right direction. But keep going, and you will find this nice B&B in between the sugar cane fields.
The location is absolutely great. Quiet and peaceful, with amazing view on the Indian ocean and towards the mountains of Cilaos / Entre Deux. The grass and palms are green, the pool and sky are blue, what more do you need?
The room we had was "chambre Josephine". Stylishly decorated. There is no TV or airconditioning, but we did not miss it at all. Every morning Franck put fresh bread on the table outside, and filled the fridge later that day with fresh breakfast stuff for the next morning. We also had free wifi, which was very convenient.
We had a great stay here. It was very calm and quiet, yet reasonably close to Saint Pierre. The owner was very friendly and really did his best to make us feel at home. We would recommend this B&B to everyone looking for a calm and peaceful place with good accomodation.

Very good location
