Great modern hotel in central area
Lovely modern hotel in a very nice area of Porto, further enough from busy tourist areas but close enough to walk to all main attractions with lots of bars and restaurants. There is a good local bar just outside which is always busy but don't be put off by it, we went and had a drink one night.
Lovely vibe in downstairs area of hotel where bar and restaurant is. All decorated really nice and quirky, good selection of drinks and cocktails.
Check in was quick and welcome drink was a nice surprise after a late arrival. We also got upgraded to a larger room at the back of hotel which was lovely.
Room was good, bed was so comfy and towels very good quality. Free bag and lollies nice touch. Definitely could do with more wardrobe storage and better hangers though as they were hard to use. Bathroom area may not be ideal for friends as people already mentioned but wasn't a problem for us. The shower was great in evening but seemed to go cold in morning. Air conditioning in room too for when hotter.
Breakfast was lovely selection and even had Prosecco to make a Buck's Fizz. Just sometimes did have to wait for things to be filled up when it had been busy as seemed to be quite low on staff.
Hot drinks and pastries were available in afternoon which was nice. And happy hour between 5.30 to 6.30. Little tip, bar next door called UX axe has house wine for 1.50 euro on happy hour! It is an axe throwing bar but you can still can go in for drinks.
We ate in the restaurant one evening, the service was great but I was a bit disappointed with my pizza, my husbands was better though and some other meals coming out looked great. Always seemed to be busy too.
Staff at hotel were all very helpful.

It was super and super quirky!
We booked here after reading all the glowing reviews and it lived up to them all!
The young reception staff were all great and were always happy to help with any queries. We requested a quiet room and got a lovely big room at the back, great shower and everything was comfortable and very clean.
We were served a welcome Port on arrival which is a nice touch as well as the complimentary afternoon hot drinks and pastries.
We were further up the hill than we had envisaged but we usually walked down and then got an Uber (excellent) back uphill.
The breakfast was lovely, we enjoyed the Cava, fresh juice and of course the warm mini Pastel de Natas, as well as much more.
Would recommend to anyone visiting Porto for a few days.

This hotel was one of the best stays I've had in a very long time. The location was excellent! Our room was clean and the beds were extremely comfortable! Water pressure in the shower was excellent (I have thick curly hair)! We had a room with a city view terrace and loved it. The hotel staff was very very accommodating and did their best to meet our needs (early check in). The hotel itself is laid out in such a fun way. We met so many nice people at the lobby bar and around. Right outside the hotel, either way you walked were great restaurants and cafes! We ate very well during our 3 night stay. The only negative was that we didn't have longer to enjoy the space! Definitely book this hotel, you will not regret it!
