Beach and Sun
From the well-known hospitality, to the care of the customer's wishes, the Claudio always provides a quiet and familiar atmosphere. One of the 7 wonders of Portugal, Odeceixe Beach has different facets throughout the day, and you can choose the river or the sea separated only by the beach and its dunes.

The worst place we have been in a 3 week trip
We have been traveling in Portugal and we have been to many different places. This is the worst you can get for a very high price, 120 euros a night. The shower was broken and dirt (in Corona times). There was no AC and was very small. The staff was just average.

Really helpful
Claudio, the owner, is really helpful and welcoming. It gives the hotel a nice "backpacker" vibe. The nearby Adegas beach is beautiful, unspoiled and not too crowded. You can have a pleasant few days here.

Before you ever think about booking a Residencia you need to be quite sure you know what you are getting. They are certainly not the Ritz!
This one is typical. It is over four floors, the ground is where the legendary breakfasts take place, the bedrooms are on the rest. A couple of rooms on the top floor have balconies that give views over the valley. But there is no lift!?!
A remarkable feature of this place is that noise is not tolerated, so your sleep will be undisturbed.
As you will read elsewhere, the guy who runs it, Claudio, is a ledgend, have you ever samba danced at breakfast?
Getting to Odeceixe by bus from Lagos, the bus goes to the high part first, the old town comes later.
Leaving, to go south, there is a bus at 10. Going north, to Odemeira, the bus leaves at 11.30
