Great location - 5 mins walk from bus/train
St Pedro's Church is beautiful, open all day, beautiful masses with choir, and ladies selling delicious cakes for €1 afterwards
Cons
There's an evening dinner at €15 - too expensive for a hostel - restaurant prices - and many hostels do for free
Not for me, but €10 pub crawl where you get three shots and entry to nightclub, when I saw a bar doing three pints and three shots for €10.
Note to mgt
No mgt on at weekends so you have to wait until Monday re any issues, you're probably already departed
The Brazilian cleaners work hard, but they make such a racket chattering together on their breaks.

Man in the FEMALE dorm
Everything seemed to be nice - hostel clean, fair price, good location, but something weird happened last night.
Hostellicious allowed a man to sleep in the female only dorm! How did something like this even happened??
The reception lady is now claiming it might have been a booking mistake, but how come the person who gave him the key card did not pay attention to the room he was being assigned - 206 FEMALE ONLY??? It sounds like a whole lot of BS from the lady in reception.
Ladies be weary of this place as they do not check if a man booked a ladies room, and do not check when giving out the keycard either.

A relaxing stay
I stayed here for 2 nights while visiting Portugal and it’s the best hostel I’ve stayed in so far! There was a clean shared kitchen with access to tea/coffee, as well as a very clean and cosy lounging area and outdoor area (all on the downstairs of the hostel). My friend and I had the option to book a girls only room - perfect for feeling safe and comfortable. The rooms were nice and not too hot like previous hostels I’ve stayed in. Great atmosphere and in a great spot in Faro!

Super positive experience, I would go back a thousand times!! I slept in a shared room with 6 other girls and everything was very clean. Comfortable bed, air conditioning, small balcony, and above all a HUGE drawer under the bed for your things. They also give you a padlock for $5.
The bathroom is shared between men and women, but it was cleaned regularly and was always in excellent condition. The kitchen is super equipped and there is also a dining room, both accessible from 6 AM to 11 PM. There is also a common room, a terrace where you can hang out laundry, and a washing machine that can be used for $5.
I also appreciated the WhatsApp group, where they organize many activities allowing you to meet other people!
Excellent location, really nice environment, and SUPER kind and helpful staff. I had a great time and I would choose it again without thinking twice.

Hostellicious was honestly one of the highlights of my time in Faro. The staff go above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome, and you can tell they genuinely care about their guests.
The hostel is clean, comfortable, well-organised, and has a great social atmosphere without ever feeling overwhelming. It was easy to meet fellow travellers, get some work done, and still enjoy everything Faro has to offer.
A massive thank you to the whole team for creating such a positive experience. I'll definitely be staying here again and recommending it to anyone visiting Faro.
