A Great Stay!

The Castle Inn's location is great -- on Castle Square. You are right where you need to be in the Old Town. The hotel wasn't fancy -- but it was clean and simple and the staff was great. Special shout-out to Kamil, Nickoli, and Sophie -- everyone was very helpful. I was offered to get an upgrade when I arrived and got a larger room for very little money (about $30 extra per night).
The hotel was one of the few buildings to survive the WW2 destruction. It is 600 years old and was an interesting place... Note there is no elevator so, heavy luggage has to be carried up. Hopefully pack light or get a lower floor!
The breakfast was simple -- an offering between a "Sweet" choice or a "Savory" choice. Kind of odd, but sufficient. The Savory included "eggs" which turned out to be a hard boiled egg. I went with the Sweet the next day which was more fruit and yogurt.
In all, I would recommend the hotel for anyone going to Warsaw. I was there for 2 nights and it met all my expectations.

Our room was comfortable (thanks to the air conditioner) and clean and the bed was just right! But what makes this a great place to stay is the location. If you want to explore Old Town, the Castle Inn makes a wonderful choice. The staff is also lovely and were able to communicate well with us in English. (Note: You do need to be able to climb stairs and the tub had high sides, so this could be another reason why folks with mobility issues may want to think twice.)

Hotel is centrally located in the old town. We stayed just for one night but would happily stay there again. The room had air conditioning.

The location can’t be bettered, just a few yards from the Royal Palace.
The decor and the rooms have a lot of character too. The only drawback might be that there are no lifts in the property and some rooms are on the third floor.
The staff were pleasant and welcoming.

Great location in old town. Right by the square; close to places to eat/drink.
