Plenty of room

The large hotel bears its name by the size. The building is imposing and there seems to be a lot of room. The restaurant has three sectors, we say. He's attached to a casino. It is close to the train station, very close. A large avenue leads to the historic buildings.

No air conditioning and room smells like cigarettes

Room smells like cigarettes. Air conditioner in the room does not work and when I asked the receptionist to fix it, she just told me that there is nothing to do and refuse to give me a new room. Worst service that I had in a hotel.

Only from outside Grand

The hotel is located directly opposite the train station. From the outside, it's in good shape. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are fine, but on the floors and in the rooms lies carpet that already appeared a bit slick.

Pleasant stay

Lovely, friendly and warm staff, excellent English. Very affordable - we had a large and spacious room for less than half what we pay in larger cities. Decor is dated but quite clean, lights automatically turn on/off everywhere which made for some dark hallways. Across the street from the train station, easy walk to many historical sites. Breakfast was adequate.

Grand hotel Kielce

Grand by name not by nature.
located close to the bus and train station, and the high street,
The rooms were clean and warm, but the hotel is in desperate need of a make over.
When we first arrived it felt like hotel was shut as it was very dimly lite inside.
Staff then tried to charge us more than we agreed, luckily we had the booking email to hand to confirm the correct price.
Breakfast was nothing special and the coffee machine was rubbish. Tasted more like warm milk than coffee.
Sorry to say we won’t stay here again on our next visit to Kielce..
